Improving textures

I have finally created a version of the Geo Merlin Ball myself, although it is not perfect.

1) I have a similar texture problem, this texture loss occurs through rotating the graphics and re-sampling.

2) I have tried 128*128 this does not work, the game will just crash.

To Phil
I know that bala and balb control the main images, but what should the balc, bald, bale and balf be. e.g
Hexagon or penatagon (what is the orienation)

I don't seem to be able to download your ball! It's a shame because it looks great, but I get a 'this file does not exist on this server' message no matter whish server I try to use...

Any plans to post it on another site except for soccergaming? Or failing that could you mail it to me?

OriginalDon: I found that all but bala are hexagons, balc, e, and f each appear once and have a balb bottom edge at it's top, and then alternating balb, bala around it all pointing (top) away from it, bald appears once around every pentagon, but it's orientation varies. Does this help??

If not I suggest colouring each panel a different colour and put an arrow on each pointing up, load these textures into the game and work it out, thats what I did.

bizzy: you mean it's up been put up already? I didn't expect it that quick, give them a day or so to upload it properly and anounce it on the fifa2002 website, if it still doesn't work, give me some e-mail addresses to send it to for posting and I'll post it elsewhere.

eddy, it's on its way, feel free to send it to where ever you like for posting for me, the more places it gets posted, the more people can find it.

Schmeichel: Hoof it over the bar and use a free cam replay to get really close to your ball for screen shots.

I have to say that in my (biased) opinion that my ball is closer in design to reality, but the sahpes look smoother on yours. You need to be less oval, and if you look on each panel as being U shaped, you need an almost straight bit at the bottom. Looking good though.
