OK. Here is my version. I was able to use 128x128 pixel for the two hexagons that make up the Geo Merlin's design. My version in also in 24 bit which gives it true color. I still have to work on the ball texture a bit more. I think the EPL ball has crowns as on the texture than the little circles.

Of course none of this is possible without the person that originally thought of the design and Phil the Leeds Fan for improving it.

By the way = West Ham have won 3 games out of 3 and are 7th in the Premiership. If we stay 7th, and Arsenal or Chelsea win the FA cup, we qualify 4 europe!!

I knew about the 3 from 3, I can keep up with the results but less about how the players are going and whatnot. I didn't know about Europe though, it should be interesting what with playing Arsenal and all in the Premiership. I can't get to Upton Park, obviously, but my Dad used (he's English) to go. I'm a fourth generation West Ham supporter, after a brief dalliance with Leicester when I was like 7 (boy am I glad I came back to the family line now). And how dodgy was that bloody FA Cup exit?? Afterwards we would have had Preston (?? I think so anyway, it was some crappy team) and looking good for at least a finals berth, we can smash Fulham.

The only match I've ever seen in England was at the Valley when I sat with the Bradford supporters in a D1 match against the Addicks. I've had a soft spot for Bradford ever since..

Yeah, we should have won vs Chelsea.
We were dominating them, but then (with a little help from the ref:() they scored a lucky last second goal:mad:

Di Canio has a knee strain, and is out until the last match of the season.

Joe Cole has broken his index finger, but can still play.

Don Hutchison is out until next season.

Thats all the injeries at the moment.
Upton Park is massive now, it can hold 36,000 fans now.
Lucky u don't support lesister still! They have had 3 wins, and are relegated!

lukas_svoboda: the silver puma ball might be possible, look at the WC ball, it's got a similar pattern (matches over about 3 panels) and that was possible.

ollie_dearn: How do you work UEFA cup qualification out?? Leeds need arsenal AND chelsea to be in FA final to be assured a UEFA cup spot in 6th (both because the runner up goes into UEFA if they aren't already in europe).

The top 4 teams in the EPL enter the champions leauge.
The next 2 down go into the UEFA Cup.
So therefore the top 6 teams enter Europe.

If Chelsea of Arsenal win the FA cup, That is also automatic qualification into Europe.

Therefore, that creates a free space in the Prem for europe.
(Because Top 6 teams AND FA cup winners go 2 europe)
Therefore the 7th placed team also go to europe, as long as the FA cup winners are 1st to 6th in the prem.


So if West Ham stay 7th, we go 2 europe!!:)
Leeds will probly get into the UEFA Cup, because West Ham are about 11 points behind them. (leeds 6th, WHUFC 7th)

No, your wrong, there are 4 CL places, 2 automatic, 2 final qualifying round.

3 UEFA cup places, 1 league cup, 1 FA cup, 1 league

2 INTERTOTO places, one 2nd round, one 3rd round

So you need to be top 5 for UEFA cup spot IF chelsea AND arsenal are in the FA cup final or if chelsea win it and finish outside the top 4 (cup runner up gets the place if winners qualify for CL through league).

If chelsea or arsenal win FA cup, top 6 = Europe.
BUT.... FIFA award an extra UEFA cup place to the country who have the best 'fair play.'
they work out who is the fairest country by adding points for fair play, and deduct points for red/yellow cards.

Check this out:

'In its efforts to promote fair play, UEFA establishes fair play rankings for each season based on all matches played in all UEFA competitions (national, representative, and club teams) between 1 June and 31 May.

In establishing these rankings, only those associations whose teams have played at least the required number of matches (total number of matches assessed divided by the number of associations) are taken into account.

For this purpose, fair play conduct is assessed by the appointed UEFA match delegate. In reward for the fair play example they set, a maximum of three associations which attain a previously defined standard (average of 8.0 points or more in the rankings) each receive one additional place in the UEFA Cup of the next season.

These additional places are reserved for the winners of the respective domestic top-division fair play competition. If the winners of the domestic top-division fair play competition have already qualified for a UEFA club competition, the UEFA fair play place goes to the highest team in the domestic fair play rankings which has not already qualified for a UEFA competition.'

gee....the high resolution NGM is really sumthin man...

but here are my observations....


1) like Phil already mentioned...the EPL logo needs to be rotated

a little more...

2) the blue strips need to be thicker..in Phil's version u can really

notice the strips in the game.....

3) basically dats all!
