That is a different matter of course, and one that I'm all too familiar with, since I regularly run the line for my son's under 18 team. However, I don't see that we should complain if the in-game linesmen spot offsides that might pass a real world linesman by, especially since EA do seem to have made some effort to make the linesman less than perfect.NK FOOTBALL ©;2288483 said:

A couple of things I've been noticing:
After playing probably 20 games with the new mod I now think shooting needs to be tweaked. I've seen a couple of occasions where strikers were inside the six yard box directly in front of the goal and missed wide. I am playing with Hardcore striker. Maybe it would be different without the HS mod installed.
I've also noticed that the cpu will not continue wide open runs for shots. Last night Berbatov had the ball at the top of the box with no one in between him and Lehman and he just dribbled in circles. This happens often. It was basically a breakaway that he didn't continue on.

If you notice, NK set me an email with a new build of this tweak--I dont think anyone has played it so far. First, stop bitching about the shooting, hes working on it. I only had a little time to play this, and usually kick some but, however, see the attachment and I didnt.
NK YOU MUST ADDRESS THIS ISSUE:
IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE THE CPU THAT MUCH BETTER, YOU MUST MAKE THE HUMAN PLAYER'S GOALIE AT LEAST ABLE TO SAVE SOME GOALS. Someone shot a trickle shot on the ground and it rolled in easily--it was going so slow my grandma could have saved it--this goes along with weak headers as well.
However, it appears the defense is much better now. It closes down, tries to clear, and counter-attacks . . . very quickly.
Please, people stop complaining about shooting. If you hold the button down until full power, the shot is going to sky over the goal--unless u do a finesse shot. Also, if the ball is coming to you in the air and you kick it wrong, the ball is going to go over the net--6 yards away or 60 yards away. I watched Rinaldo do it from 4 yards away in a REAL LIFE GAME--this is realistic and not NKs wrong.
I do enjoy that set pieces are a threat now. Anyone can score. Once you learn how to angle ur shot and the right power, free kicks are always "golden opps".
The CPU was a threat in legendary, although Nigeria is always tough for me. If NK fixes the Human goalie then the Xpro should be fine. I do not agree that as the CPU gets better the Human goalie becomes worse--thats plain stupid.

When you play the release I played, you will find out that cpu attack has been improved greatly.

What I have done is this;
Made defence a bit tighter
Made shooting harder (many of the 'replay chances' if you get me, where you JUUUST miss, it happens a lot and it's exciting!!)
Goalkeepers not as good for either side (but I will make human goalie better now due to your feedback).
This blend has made games feel much more realistic. I also just HAD to reduce CPU accuracy in dead ball sits' because i played against Arsenal and Henry put 2 free-kicks passed me lol. I felt it was a little too easy for them.
You will notice in the latest build that I will send out to you, that once you get that killer shot on target...you WON'T be seeing superman save it, just a regular goalie dive, if he gets to it, fair play...but chances are (and since it's difficult to), once you get that deadly accurate shot...it'll be a goal. But like I said, shots that are off target don't all go off at a 180 degree angle lol. You get plenty of the close calls and it's a rush.
I will send Skyyaa a copy also, but that's it for this one. Two testers are fine for this build, you'll both receive it very soon and I hope you enjoy it my friends

Ok second time around turned out much better- no crashes, or disappearing players...although I lost this time ha. I notice the defense is much better in midfield and they were much more attacking, although the cpu's lone goal was kinda flukey (free kick from near midfield and somehow Puyol runs inside my box and deflects it perfectly into the corner). The long shooting is much more likely to get on target (although it's not necessarily easy to score). I had one close shot that unfortunately Villa blasted wide...don't know if that is a trend or not yet. Very even match though. I'll keep testing it out.

Ok I played a handful more games, tied 1 and won 2. Couple more things I've noticed: 1) the freekicks are...different...can't decide if I like it yet; basically they stay down more but the bar shoots up extremely fast so it's hard to get it just right. 2) close shooting, 1v1 with the keep the shooting still seems a bit inaccurate compared to reality (still can't reliably bury that bottom corner shot) ...far shots are very good now though, hard to score, but easy to get on net, like real life! Most of my goals aren't really pretty ones (off of crosses or clean-up from a freekick) but I think this is akin to reality and makes the beautiful ones all the better. 3) game seems to have sped up a bit, maybe only because the cpu pressures you faster so you have to play faster... All in all, games are tense and close!

I am not a good FIFA player. But that I still noticed all matches I played were fast. You know sometimes like Arsenal plays in real-life, when they were winning and it was like 80 minutes, they just pass the ball around and make the game speed slower.
However, in your gameplay, when I did that, the opponent team players kept rushing at me. They couldn't get the ball, but I had to pass really fast, and that's unrealistic.
I hope that you can do something that make the game speed different at times, not just the same speed thorough the game.
