This is possible. This is something NK discovered with 06 as well. I am not sure how he is doing the settings for different difficulties but indeed on some cases other levels could be more difficult. But I would also imagine this might be a function of your game playing style as well.

Well, in fact, your impression of the gameplay being different, that is easier or harder is not surprising. Its always going to seem easier to some and hard for others. I for one would like to see a very diffuclt gameplay, but my fear is that it would be impossible for most players. Thats why I hope that the lower game settings can be adjusted to actually be less difficult than world class. If you are like me, I only play career mode so playing legendary is pointless.

news.

I am indeed working on an update, that for the past week took a stand-still as I went away for two days then discovered that the computer had died. This has held back the development and testing of the new update, but one which so far is playing much better than the 1st.

The only problem now is getting the main computer up and running so I can start once again on the update. Hopefully no format will be required, which would wipe all data of fifa and my update including everything else on my HD.

So for now, just be patient and the goods will be released to you soon. I promise good things to come my friends, this is only the 2nd update, it's going to get better! :wootman:

Don't know how much of this are possible through ini editing but here are my suggestions:

The overall difficult should rely on CPU players strategy not ultra-hyper-nonrealistic-harder goalkeepers. They seen good enough for now. :)

The CPU players should:

avoid random direction turns and try to keep going strait to the goal whenever possible.

avoid long range low passes that crosses the field from a promissing attack back to the defense :confused:

try tricks upon your defense

That's what i remember for now. THANK YOU FOR IMPROVING SO MUCH WHAT WAS ALREADY GOOD! :Bow:

As for the main computer that has everything on it, including the latest build for the update, the news is pretty sad;

The motherboard broke down, and blew the power-supply and the processor. We now have a new motherboard and power-supply, and a new graphics card (one of the latest Geforces), but need a new processoer. On monday we'll be sending it back to AMD for a replacement as it is still in warranty.

Anyway, I will keep hold of all this feedback and make sure that when the game is up and running, I'll make all the relevent chances to increase the realism, challenge and hopefully excitement of the game.

Thanks and forgive me if my spelling is a little off, I'm not really in the 'spelling correctly mood' haha.

another question : are you working on the gameplay for a specific gameplayspeed ? I mean with what speed is your thing the best performing ?

Hi, I have the spanish version of the game since I bout it in spain. I dont know if this matters or not but when I install the patch the game doesnt start for me. Any ideas why?

Edit: I get a dark screen and it goes back to the desktop...

Hmm this will be looked at as before the main computer died, I did add many more language options, spanish being one of them :jap: All will be included in the next release.

For now it may be best for you to take the files off of your CD and copy and paste them into the directory as clearly my update as of right now (the one released) isn't supporting your language (spanish). Again, I am very sorry for this.
