Well, the goalkeepers are much more fined tuned, I will tune them more. The game needs to be harder when it comes to heading the ball from corners, although I've increased that difficulty already, I will try make the CPU more aggressive at defending them.

Just been in practice mode, couldn't score from a corner! Good thing, I've really reduced the easiness of scoring from a corner. The goalkeepers are much better at marking the angle of the ball and its direction when hit from a header, you'll notice in some cases the goalkeeper knocks the ball away, or even catches it...when perhaps in the past the direction of the header would have gone up and over the goalkeeper, who had anticipated the shot for too long and not had the 'skill' or speed to get to that 'rainbow header'. Plus, the defenders and players' in the box who are trying to defend against you are indeed more aggressive at defending, so winning the header is harder and because I've made the game tighter, it's not easy to find the space inside the box now.

Granted, you'll still score from corners! And you might score from a header or two, but no where near as easily as before and that's something I'll keep tuning.

practice mode and playing are two diffeernt things. try and practice in normal games. but as i said i'm testing some more today. yes the pc is still a bit 'clumsy' in attack. great teams need to be more slick and cunning

Ok, players' with high ratings won't stumble anymore, but to be considered a player that won't hardly stumble or make mistakes, they have to have a high rating! Higher than before. Otherwise they can still mess up. So players' like ronaldinho will be better on the ball than say Michael Owen, despite Owen having good control, Ronaldinho is much better.

yeah that's what i mean. more one two's and in general just passing more. not just 3 passes and then a long ball that goes nowhere. do you know what i mean?

absolutely amazing game. i couldn't believe it when i got the winner in stoppage time.
NK! this really is special. i wouldn't chnage anything except the corners(a little). the rest with keepers and attack i'd leave 'til next version.
What I meant with the attacking is that arsenal attack just like brentford(if you let them). arsenal pass the ball around, play well. sometimes long balls. brentford attack in the same way when they should just be pumping long balls and so on. it's only an afterthought if you fancy changing it...

Wow sounds like a great game!! I'm glad you're enjoying it, I have a 'testfinal' update, it could be the finished product. Check your PM, I've updated parts of the game to make it more challenging, goalkeepers are more alert now.

well I have kept a backup of the other one just in case, so no worries if you don't enjot it as much. I noticed the CPU shoots more in the new one though, feels like they really want to win.

edit: 6-0!! hahaha great win!! VERY VERY great win! I couldn't beat a team 6-0 on this update no way. You must be bloomin good, maybe I can play you on direct IP sometime? haha, would love to see how we pair up against each other.

yeah well i beat utd with them. and i have some CL games and so on coming up but yes. this is my 5th season with sheff utd and they're KICK ASS!

I have 4 replays to show you, taken from builds of Xpert, goals that are all still possible to score. I'm not sure if you've scored ones like this, or even better. PM me your e-mail if you want and I'll send them to you to check out. One is in practice mode and is a clean example of how you score great goals by shifting the weight of the goalkeeper to one side, than shooting in the oposite corner of the goal to stretch him. It looks great! Plus I scored a scorcher with Saha for Man-utd.
