shot mechanic is advanced now. Played away as Brazil v england and couldn't seem the find the target as they were marking and pressuring me, i thought "hmm too difficult", but when i went into practice mode it was like a whole other story, no pressure and hitting the target with Rooney pretty much all the time, juuust missing some great finesse shots, etc. Went back into a match and yup, soon as pressure comes on...it's well difficult to control the shot.

ssj, the way you are playing is NOT realistic. NK's patches are meant to make the game more realistic. If you aren't satisfied, then maybe NK's patches arent right for you.
I do agree, it does seem like you want him to customize his updates to your style of play. If you want it to be modified to how YOU want it, then find another patch, or hell, make your own gameplay update!

today i have played with manutd vs mancity in internacional mode
i played this same game in semipro
in semipro i got out with a 1x0 for me
but in the internacional i scored 6x0 only in the first half
i dont know what it can be

Well if there's one thing for sure, you can't please everyone!
Some will come and praise a difficult shot mechanic, others will rip it to shreds finding "unrealistic" faults because 1v1 situations aren't always a goal. Fact of the matter is, 1v1 situations are a mini-game in their own right for real football, it's a battle, not an instant, full on accuracy shot-goal! That is utter bollocks. the best players' make it look easy, but I disagree with feedback on the mechanic in terms of its accuracy, in fact I think it's too accurate and the game-engine is allowing in too many silly accurate shots.
I have updated the shot mechanic and the cpu had 17 shots, 12 on and 1 goal. I had 6 shots, 1 on. To me, that's a challenge. And the cpu could score and add pressure, my keeper kept me in the fight for the 10 minute half. I didn't play second half. But it would've been a good match.
I'm working on the ball physics and such for realism. Problem with my updates is that you get players' of all different gaming styles and my update is aimed are simulation. I'm talking about realistic passing, no short cuts, no bug-exploits. I believe if you rush a chance, your shot will be rushed and error will happen. In practice mode if I kick-off with just my 11v1 cpu keeper and rush straight for goal and shoot, it's prob going to be wide. If I pass about, get myself a feel for it and then shoot, it's much closer to a goal, keeper save and even goal itself. There's error for first touch-shots, so a rushed chance from a quick-sneaky cross is less likely to get you a goal then say well worked passing.
I'm not going to sit here and type this all over, I say the same thing all the time. Like it or not the 07 game-engine lets in too many chances to score. EA's way of making the game harder is disadvantaging the user VS cpu. in FIFA 08, EA have made chances slim and harder to work for. In 07, it's the goalkeepers and shot error that increase it and that's the core-game-engine. I can't change that.
So for 07, I can tweak the defence and attack only so much. But what'll make the game true challenging is the way EA tuned it, and me doing what I do best and putting my own feel and imagination into the update, making shooting harder and goalkeepers for both teams good for my balancing.
whether you like it or not, that's the game-engine. If you don't like it, don't play it and wait for 08 guys. I ain't charging you to download my work and I certainly am not getting paid!

Is'nt football about taking advantage of your opponent's weakness and making it your strenght?
Just because you people cant see openings as quick as me and cant score as much as me does not mean that you can blame me.

I can give him feed back based on what i play and i cant come down to your level to give me feed backs got that!!!
Plus my style of playing is absolutely right.I dont make un-necessary passes.I make a pass when it is really needed.N thats what soccer is about.When you find a opening go and score and dont keep sitting there and keep passing it like a baby.So grow up and take on the challenge and play a man's game you kiddies.

Well i played 2 more games today both on legendary 20 mins matches.
First match against Argentina and i trashed them 8-1.
Second match against Italy and i trashed them 9-4.
I found the shooting to be great.I had no problems hitting the target with long shots or close range shots so NK i take back what ever i told about the shooting.Its Great,Do what ever you can to improve it

Just played another match and trashed france 11-0.
All i want to say that the CPU has no answers to the ground crosses.
First match against Argentina and i trashed them 8-1.
Second match against Italy and i trashed them 9-4.

the new shot mechanic will be less forgiving with quick shots and chances. e.g. quick long balls, quick turns and strikes. Even composed chances can miss. There's a much higher chance that you'll hit the ball in its best range of contact though, which is better. But it will require more concentration.
You guys won't probably like it at first, but give it time and you'll start putting the goals away cause you'll get used to it.

Sounds like you've changed a lot of the mechanic NK. Unfortunately, I'm out of town for a week and can't actually try the new beta, but reading all this is killing me, since I have to wait a week before I can play FIFA again. The suspense is killing me.

Well the problem with a lot of feedback straight from a few games is that I am EXPECTINNG "make shooting easier", or the usual "I can't score 1v1, it's impossible". Ok, impossible is not the word to use, "difficult" is, or better yet, just swallow the pride and think "I need to learn how to score 1v1".
Defenders are also better at getting in your way for shots, etc. Which is really realistic.

just lost 5-2 on world class as inter milan v AS milan. Whereas I hit the post and missed 1v1, they put them away. In past updates, cpu players' had trouble scoring 1v1. Hell, they won't score every situation now either, but the realism is in there.

NK I havent tried this new version yet but I made a few videos of problems from the last one.
Mainly the AI defence. I score goals and Im just asking myself "where is there defence"
It seems like they just stop marking men sometimes. Im leaving today for the weekend but when I return ill post them if the problem still persists.
I play on World Class btw.
