the pass is easier than the previous version (PASS_ASSISTANCE?) where i can simply pass the ball to the other player quickly eventhough the passer has lost his balance. i like the high sensitivity of passing where it's easier to pass the ball to the far player... but the pass speed is still little bit slow mate...
i dont know why but the shoot is seems to be more slower? but i like that it's not very accurate as the default and not too hard as ur previous version
how the ball bounce is really fantastic. it makes my game looks real but still not as real as how the ball bounce in pes6 (with the superpatch).
i like the freekick because it's easier to make goals now haha :mexican:
more space now available on the pitch which is one of the most part that i have been looking through ur updates. no more arcade-played.
we3: the best gameplay i've ever used for fifa07. keep it up mate!

Thanks for the awesome feedback buddy. In which parts of the ball physics in terms of the bounce you mentioned, does WE3 fail to beat PES6? Perhaps I can improve, no...I CAN improve. You just tell me exactly what it is, is it the passing bounce? The bounce from a goalkick? Tell me how you want it to look, or YouTube some video footage showing me from a real game. As you might know, the request in the past was to have a ball bounce that could bounce up to the players' head and over causing problems for control and THIS is in WE3!
I am limited to what I can do, but there's no loss in trying.

I didn't design the gameplay for FIFA4fans, it's a matter of trial and error. See if it works. WE2 didn't compat' with CEP4.0, but WE3 does.

i dont know how but u just did it- the of the ball mechanics system is really works at the best. the ball bounce perfectly but i think it should have more weight and not like a ballon (BALL_GRAVITY=?). well everyting is ok but i wish u can modify how the ball bounces for passing like in pes6 (the ball seems to have more weight than in fifa07) just in this case but in other cases ur gp really is the best.
the ball, the players are now really indenpendent which is better than in pes6 does offer. the passing in pes6 is really fell scripted n not independently as in ur gp.
HUMAN and CPU are more balance which no more handicap situation for human.
i've try many other gp but still the CPU cant do building up attack like in pes6. this is the limit u cant do rite?

OK I think I have played enough matches now to safely say that this is a significant improvement over WE1 and WE2. The off-the-ball AI is probally as good as you can get it now. Shooting as well is about as good as the game will allow without being too easy, and shot totals and match scores end up just about right.
Some main differences I noticed:
-Free kicks: tons more bend added.. not sure if this is a good thing or not as I was very used to the system from WE beta and I really liked it quite a bit. WE3 allows you to use more power accurately which is nice but the ball does bend a touch unrealistic.. it should make for some crazy goals though!
-Volleys: still absolutely f-ed at least from close range. Long range volleys never even come close but at least they look more realistic now instead of rising like balloons. From up close mid-air volleys still float over the bar very slow (balloon like) and I was hoping this would be remedied with this update.
Anyway, with this update I'm finding myself without much to complain about! At first play I thought it was too fast but I have adapted to it now.. So job well done NK and thanks!

I will be releasing an additional update that fixes some of the issues mentioned with ball physics and free-kicks. It will also tweak the AI defences and attack to improve slightly. But nothing out of the ordinary. Expect a slightly tuned, more refined WE3

The ball bounce will very much be like PES6 in the next update. I'm doing my research and it's very possible to get that 'quicker bounce' off the grass, it's a matter of the seperation between the two gravity values EA offers in the 07 files, which is great for me! So I can make the ball loft in the air and dip, but have the ball skim across the ground. This feedback makes a huge difference, thank you

Damn NK I am just loving this more and more! I scored a wicked free kick today with a nice bender so if you fix that I might just not update!
Anyway I wanted to chime in here to back up NK's claim that the game offers a wide variety of scorelines and not just the same old same old. I got beat 3-1 in my first game and from there a couple of 0-1's, a couple of 1-0's, 2-0s, 1-1's etc and then BAM i just beat the living sh*t out of Blackburn by 5-0! to make matters even sweeter they were on a 3 game losing skid. Also, I didnt score my first goal until 70th minute. Then when I added the second, the floodgates flew open. That level of realism I have not seen in an update as of yet. Crazy!

Hey pfk505, outstanding feedback. This means the update plays how I wanted it. Never the same game twice! Even if the score-line comes out the same.
I am working on the realism. Free-kicks will be different in terms of spin and dip. The shot mechanic will be slightly altered from the change in ball physics, but the result will be the volley's will be fixed (the ones that float).
This is pretty much be the same WE3, but with some tweaks and tuning to improve. The CPU will also be a bit better. But nothing to disturb the balance.
Hey Tizmo. Thanks mate, appreciate the feedback. Yes, some games are high scoring, some not so. That's the way I think it should be. Not every game is too much, not every game is dead.
