Nope this is not true!fifaCCitiu.com;3495944 said:I think behind this choice to have FIFA 14 for PC in current gen there are some things to think about:
-New consoles have at least 8 core, and they are done for games. They don't have an Operating system as ours , an antivirus and some other things that make your system less reactive. The PC with low medium specs are cutted down because or their processing specs, not graphical. New gen games do much more calculations than current gen , and the 80% or PCs now are not capable to do that, and this will be translating as less money for EA.
He only posts once every 6 months folks. But when he does, it's brilliant.BLaZiNgSPEED;3509278 said:I think you are victim of EA's recent article saying "the next-gen consoles are a generation ahead of the highest end PC in the market".. Don't believe in this crap. This is just a marketing strategy from EA to try and sell the new Xbox One/PS4 Consoles. Otherwise who's going to buy a new Console if EA decided to develop the Ignite Engine for PC?
They are trying to persuade us to buy the new Xbox One and PS4 consoles! Think about it, EA aren't even releasing NBA Live 14 for Xbox 360 and PS3! This is all part of their plan to make those NBA Live fans switch to the new consoles.
Plus I honestly think Ignite Engine is just a marketing gimmick. I mean, many people still think that NBA 2K14 will beat NBA Live 14 despite the fact 2K won't release a new engine while EA will.
For the first year at least, the new engine won't make much of a difference in terms of the core gameplay unless EA utilize the engine to improve the gameplay. Which I doubt that's going to happen.
Hahaha, at least it will happen for FIFA 14 caused the arrival of a giant killer. So far I see the Ignite has made better graphics. Face, kit, stadium environment. EA said that some differences in graphic Quality between FIFA 14 PC/XBOX/PS3 with FIFA 14 Xbox one/PS4 version and Unfortunately, PC gamers can not feel the Ignite.XeVile;3509900 said:I don't get it instead why do you guys even bother about EA's crap Next Gen. Have you guys seen the NG E3 stage demo? www.youtube.com/watch?v=73YkkapVdm0
Watch that and tell me how it is called "Next Gen". Except for the crowd and the better faces(can be done on X360) I don't see anything "Next Gen". Btw amidst the stripped down version we got the past couple of years I have learnt to not expect anything good of EA cause they always seem to fuck up regardless of what they do. At least now PES seems to be going in the right direction and I might fancy a go with it. Maybe the FIFA golden years have come to a stop.
Try to see the two pictures I posted above. FIFA 14 Gameplay possibility to be the same among all platforms, but the graphics quality rather different, as one of them is: the waving kit/kit model. Obviously they are trying to create an innovation. But when we reflect to KONAMI step on this year, EA still done little. Maybe EA feel still in the wind for everything ...The fact is fans will angry if there is no significant difference..Its look like competition between the COD and the Battlefield. A war happen is not only in the game...XeVile;3509952 said:What so you really think next gen looks good? EA are giving NG the same current gen textures. The only difference is the face and the crowd. In my opinion Lighting is same. No change in gameplay from current gen to next gen. In terms of animation only a few videos have been seen with about 4-6 new animations so can't judge yet.
EA are really not putting up anything innovative in next gen. They are not utilising any of the new Kinect 2.0 or PS4 Move or Touchpad of PS4 so it doesn't matter that PC is missing those equipment. So it's not like they could have not been lazy and made a port rather than just throwing out a crappy explanation that PC is generations behind X1 and PS4?

Update: More Bad News
Looks like EA will continuing support the old-gen till 2017.
The question is where's the PC platform position in the middle of this?

FIFA 14
EA vs KONAMI, in my opinion.... Could it be there are other game developers who are interested in making football games, usually the more competitive it will further accelerate the development process... Who dares to??XeVile;3509981 said:See how they are pushing for innovation rather than money making schemes like EA. EA has really done nothing rather than put up an enhanced version of FIFA 13 for both gen the latter being more graphically better.
