No the player of the tournament is definitaly Aguero! No doubt! Banega is great though! . Aguero is just....I dont have any words for it. He is such a fantastic player already and just turned 19! Magical WC for the kid! Just superb!

Maxi Moralez was superb too as Di Maria! But Maxi wanted too much in the final. He needed to chill. He made 4 goals and thats great for a midfielder! Still a superb WC for him too.

I only saw the last 3 games, and some kids were amazing...

The kids from Racing suprised me a lot, specially Yacob...

Maxi, I knew he was pure talent in his 1,60 mts...

Aguero, well, he is much better player now, than when he was in el Rojo...and thats saying a lot...i hope he can show it this season with Atletico...

Ay Maurito...finally he scored a goal...and what a goal, the CHAMPIONSHIP goal...great way to say goodbye from the NT...(he is going to Qatar)

Tocalli deserved this...he was killed by some journalists here in Argentina after the WC 2006...

It would have been nice to see some River players...but maybe next cup we will have some central defenders (Mussachio, Oliva or Martinez)

What a pity Lautaro Acosta didn't have more minutes in this cup, same with "papu" Gomez. Oh well this is nowhere close to be as important as the Copa América but it's some silverware.

He was blamed before the start of the WC because of the Lux incident, because it's said that Tocalli and Filliol picked the keepers. And why he was blamed after made no sense because after all he was an assistant, and he was coaching the sparrings.

It's kind of funny how one week or so ago, nobody really cared too much about this tournament in Argentina...now it has gained the attention that it deserved. I am very proud of the boys, especially the Racing crowd (Romero, Yacob, Morález, Cabral). Anyways, it was a very good tournament for Aguero and Banega which impressed me a lot too. Hopefully these kids will not turn out like their "senior-team" counterparts and choke when it really matters. I really look forward to seeing some of them (Moralez, Aguero, Banega) in our senior team.

Shame that Zarate went to Qatar. I couldnt believe it when I read it a few weeks back. Its such a shame! He had some great touches in the final, showed great pace and control! Good luck in Qatar!

He was one of the best players in the tourney as far as I'm concerned. Very athletic, very aware and positionally smart, and of course, being an Argentine, technically gifted.
