I had a nightmare the other day of us completely dominating the game and Colombia scoring the 1-1 draw off a fluke rebound (which is how all the goals go in in the last 4-5 games against us).

That's actually how we've been scoring our goals lately.

Seriously, leaving aside Forlan's goal against Venezuela, our last goals have all come from rebounds. (:/)

I'd say the midfield looks a tad depleted, but Varela will most likely move forward when we're attacking.

I still think Zalayeta shouldn't be a starter after the amount of sitters his missed. Better than Dario though...

Fossati did his best and in the end he wasnt as bad as I thought he'd be

With 2 wins out of 9? Not to mention both were 1-0 results, where as our defeats were thrashings.

To me, he was every bit as bad as expected if not worse.

People got excited with a 3rd place finish in Copa America without realizing every team we beat was a youth or B squad.

With the sqaud we threw out there and Pekerman doing stupid things as coach...

Plus, I bet you our players were arogant and due to lack of motivation probably thought they win by just stepping onto the field. . . Typical Argentina.

Full Marks to Paraguay though.

The team wasn't the problem, in my opinion but the formation was. I would've done this with the same players.

This has been tried before with almost the same players and has worked, i don't get what's Pekerman plan with messing up the formation, specially making Lucho as a double 5 with Cambiasso. If he wanted a double 5 then he should have used something like this.

Santana has proven to be good as a RCM with Cambiasso during the Confeds cup. But he called Santana and he wasn't even the bench, and why he takes too long to make the substitutions and come up with random things is starting to bother me.
