Don't like it. First of all, I am a long time opponent of false 9s who can't score like real 9s. Ozil's biggest weakness is awful finishing. I also don't like Schurrle over Gotze, and would like to keep Muller in the squad because of his work rate, defending, positioning, and the fact that he just offers something different.

I'd play:

Reus(Schurrle)
Gotze-Ozil-Muller
Schweini-Khedira

With Gomez on the bench for headers in the last 30 minutes. The problem is that Gomez is more dangerous against ****ty teams IMO (ditto for Huntelaar), so he'll look really good in qualifying and then not deliver at the top level. I guess what I'm saying is that any combination will carry Germany through qualifying and their group; and then when you get to the knockouts it's more about matchup and form.

Laudrup was also awful finishing but he was dream team's false 9. The point of false 9 is to create superiority in midfield and space when a CB get caught off position

I have no confidence in Podolski to do anything at a high level right now. I would say the favorites for strikers in 2014 would be Schurrle and Reus (behind Gomez of course).

I'm wondering what role he would play at Arsenal. If he can adopt himself and play well in Wenger's Arsenal academy, he can be great asset for German team.

Low has lots of options which can be used in various tactics but he sticks to just one.
I guess tactics should be chosen according to opponent as well, I don't know how he expect 2 midfielder to outshine Pirlo and 3 other hardworker Italians.

MC is pretty deep, it's hard to believe that he has a future at that position with the national team. But maybe he did, it WAS the Faroe Islands.

yeah, he didn't did defensive skills for that task ... it was just interesting to see here.
Az is kind of wright, they had three layers in midfield, Khedira, Gotze, Ozil
but az Shifty said he doesn't have physical needs to play there

I watched most of the 2nd half and Gotze played alongside Ozil and infront of Khedira, I wouldn't consider it MC, and don't think it would work against any proper team.

Surelly Xavi and Iniesta are the stronger around... it's not a physical matter, Götze tendency is to attack not to stay deep.

Good game gentlemen. You absolutely murdered us.

Saying that, if there was a couple more minutes stoppage time, I think we had a comeback in us. (H)

What? Why do you hate Muller?

I love this NT, it has taken over from Holland as my favorite NT right now. I wonder if it could work with Muller or Reus up top so Kroos (two longshot goals (H)) can get in for Klose.

No idea, I definitely feel he is a good player just not as good as his statistics present, plus I have a personal dislike of him for no reason whatsoever, sometimes I don't even like his technique

That was interesting. Two Müller assists and it's a shame Reus' superb multiple 1-2 move didn't get him two as well. Kallström comes on and ged teo great assiss with balls over the top, and I THINK he also enabled the other two goals with high balls as well.

Disastrous performance to concede a 4 goal lead in half an hour. Couldn't believe I read that right.

I bet they are freaking the **** out in Germany. After Bayern's failure last year and then the Euro, all that gets said is how this generation "doesn't have it". It's all ******* random and you can't be a choker to even get a professional contract, but this stupid narrative persists in every sport.

"You have to have been there before to gain the experience before you can win."

*Porto wins Champions League*

"What a team!!!"

*Bayern dominates game and loses from a set of fluke occurrences*

"CHOKERS!"

Nonsense.
