I mentioned it few months ago that German NT didn't have come back mentality under Low management and Sweden match proved that although they are very strong technically and tactically but they lack fighting mentality which was always Germany characteristic.

Look how Mancini made a team to fight till the last second ...

Everyone knows Mancini sucks. We only like him because of this

I wish i could see Hummels, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Gündogan, Götze, Özil and Kroos playing together, at different heights but without geographic discipline. Everything starting on Hummels, Schweinsteiger-Gündogan at the base, Özil-Kroos-Götze between lines and Lahm stuck to the touchline making the pitch wide and giving space to the players in the center.

Khedira is better than Gundogan.

Truely not. Khedira dances somewhere in the offensive, he does not play the part like 2010 any more. Khedira is not a bad player, but Gündogan is much more talented in nearly every aspect.

Reus--Götze--Müller
Schweinstegier--Gündogan
Schmelzer--Hummels--Badstuber--Lahm
Neuer

That's the way, I would like to see the team. But this will not happen as long as the most overrated trainer has to determine who is playing.

Nah, Khedira is a great player. He was incomplete when he joined Madrid, but Jose has turned him into a really top player. Gundogan has great potential, but he's not there yet. He probably needs a move like Khedira to fully realize his potential.

Gündogan and Khedira are very different players, Khedira is one of best if not the best in his role.

Yeah, I was gonna chime and say that comparing Khedira and Gundogan is difficult because they're very different players, but it doesn't matter. I'd like to see Gundogan play more in the NT, but the current best partnership is Khedira-Schweini.

There are so many players that I'd like to see in the NT that I don't think they'd all fit. I mean, Germany's talent and depth is insane: Neuer, ter Stegren, Zieler, Leno, Weidenfeller, Trapp, Ulreich, Unnerstall, Adler, Lahm, Hummels, Jung, Wollscheid, Reinartz, Badstuber, Boateng, Jantschke, Howedes, Gonzalo Castro, Westermann Schmelzer, Bender, Bender, Neudstader, Khedira, Schweini, Gundogan, Kehl, Leitner, Hunt, Kroos, Gotze, Reus, Ozil, Holtby, Draxler, Schurrle, Meier, Muller, Podolski, Grosskreutz, Kiessling, Gomez, Klose.

Obviously not all of those are that good, and some are too old to be considered for a call-up given the competition, but if you told me to make a team out of the worst guys available in that list (and there are more like Aogo, Cacau, Trasch, that I just can't be bothered to add), it'd still be good enough to make the knockout round of any NT competition.

e.g

Kiessling
Grosskreutz - Meier - Hunt
Reinartz - Leitner
Gonzalo Castro - Wollscheid - Westermann - Jung
Unnerstall

Decided Badstuber and Schmelzer are too good so I justs tuck Castro in there, and Leitner is just a prospect at this point, but still, I think that team could get past the group stage. Sure, it's not as awesome as the first choice, but most of the guys on that list are like 5th choice or lower. I'm really digging the Bundesliga this year and insane amount of German talent is one of the main reasons for that.

German league is amazing right now. Very few have realized it, but it will become evident soon. I expect Schalke to make a deep CL run along with Bayern and Dortmund to really hammer this home. And I hope for Leverkusen to get 4th place, because they are capable of a run as well (and could spend the extra money well).

E: The league has a TV problem though. Almost all of their games are played at the same time on Saturday. And it's early morning in the USA.
