The ref----------mom, he should have had a mexican shirt on. The foul he called on the 2nd goal's play never existed. Palacios clearly hit the ball and not the player.

They did at times definitely but you also have to take into consideration that this was Eriksson's first game as coach and he had no time to work with this group of players. I'm just glad we didn't lose because it was looking pretty hopeless until Pavel scored.

I already mentioned it on another thread, but lets give a goodbye to one of the best players to wear 'la verde', el senor Don Cuauhtémoc Blanco. I'll never forget two of his goals...1. the goal versus Belgium in the 98 WC to tie the game at 2-2 and 2. the goal in the 99 Confederations versus Brazil to give Mexico a 4-3 win.

Mexico needs to put Honduras comprehensively away in the last game of the round to drive fear into heart of the other teams in the Hex, and to make Sven-Goran look good to his bosses. There is of course the added plus that if Jamaica and Mexico win our next games we both advance...

Honduras played well in Mexico. They almost took the win home. Mexico had a real hard time beating them at their house. It wouldn't surprise me if Honduras beats Mexico in San Pedro Sula. If that happens Jamaica would need to score like 7 goals to leave Mexico out but Jamaica has only been able to score 1 goal per game. I see that very unlikely to happen.

Oh!! "Mexico va a pasar a la hexagonal caminando" said a lot of Mexican reporters but pasaron de "panzaso". Honduras came out 1st of the group and the so "Gigante" of CONCACAF was almost left out. Mexico only wins in D.F.

Yeah, we had the toughest group but we still shouldn't depend on Jamaica not scoring more than 6 goals on Canada, but thankfully they only put up 3 on the score. It really is embarrasing the way we advanced...

At least there are 3 1/2 tickets to the WC in CONCACAF for this 2nd stage. We should really not **** that up.
