Fantastic song! Thought i'd share, i have no idea how well known it is, though. Found it by complete accident (or at least that's one way to put it). My neighbours must be having a blast.

Whoa! Thanks. That's pretty damn good i must say, at least i like it. And i'm not just saying this to please you or whatever. I always appreciate quality new tunes coming my way. Goes straight to my extremely valuable .txt file that has every good (ONLY) song i've gotten from somebody.

After hearing the one i posted, i thought that's just one good song i can possibly like by this unknown Hooverphonic to me at the time, and that there surely can't be any more. And i didn't even bother taking a simple glance at their discography or giving a couple of their other songs a listen just to make sure. I'm not going to bother right now either, maybe some on some other day when i happen to be extremely bored.

But to my defense i don't really listen to this genre (downtempo / trip-hop), so i really had no that big of a reason to, anyway.

Hearing 00:50-00:55 made me immediately think of "John Murphy - In The House, In A Heartbeat" (28 Days Later theme) and "Atticus Ross - Panoramic" (The Book of Eli main theme). Just those 5 seconds though heh, dunno why, they aren't even really that much alike and that's an overstatement. Probably because i thought MAYBE i had heard it in some movie before and i think it would make a pretty good theme song if it hadn't already. Anyway i got curious and had to find out, and nope, it hasn't been in any.

if you want a better sound quality, you can always try the link I'll provide but be aware you won't be seeing any more of that pretty girl, instead you'll only get to see terry's lips..

..and, an old favourite, actually I discovered them both roughly the same time, 98-99.. I like this more than "mad about you"..

Gave them a listen. I didn't know the existance of those songs until tonight. Thought i'd give some feedback while i'm at it.

To be honest i'm one of those people who doesn't really find music videos that important. So better quality over video any day of the week for me. When i'm listening to something i don't stare at the youtube tab with a blank stare, i always have some kind of an activity when listening to music, anything besides the video. So yeah. Just give me .FLAC quality + winamp for playing it and i'll be on cloud nine.

I'm going to be frank with you and not try to sugarcoat things. The Massive Attack one is something i could listen to when it's playing somewhere without getting the "can someone change the tune please" feeling. It's one of those that i'd categorize as listenable, but probably not something i would put on and listen repeatedly right now for example.

Now the Avalanches one, i listened it until the end of course, but just couldn't enjoy it. You see the vocals ruin it automatically for me, i don't know, i just CAN'T stand her voice, she has a voice of a 3-year-old. Also the music itself sounds strange, if not bizarre. I don't want to say it's bad or something, but it's just not for me, definitely. Not my kind of genre.

That's just my opinion on those songs and i don't really believe in judging peoples' taste on something, unless it's really hideous. So that's that.

Oh and what i actually noticed more than the songs were the related videos. Just accidentally happened to glance over them quickly, and i felt like i had to mention "Unfinished Sympathy", and "Paradise Circus". Both alright. I think the Gui Boratto remix of the latter is actually way better than the original, but it's tech house and probably not your cup of tea, hell it isn't even mine anymore (the genre i may listen to, but until 15 minutes ago i hadn't heard that song for some time), i just remember hearing it in some set a couple of years ago, and it was even better in that. Also like what the guy has done with the bass. Anyway i'm done!

Or no actually, when i saw Portishead in the related videos list, i immedietally thought that this is the most deserving of a post from that list. Probably everyone knows this though, but what the hell. Not bad at all in my opinion.

Great song. : ) Maybe it's the opioids talking right now, BUT... I thought that I'd share.

And this as well! I love the wobble bass sound + good lyrics.

If at least one person likes one of those then my mission is complete! :P
