I occasionally watch a bit of ice hockey every few months but this coming season I really want to start following it. I suppose I'll have to choose a team then.
I downloaded the NHL 2004 demo and it rocks. I love getting into fights and scoring amazing goals. The funny thing is in the demo nearly every fight I get into is between Stevens and Carney, funny as hell!

scott stevens always takes runs at people right at the blue line. That's what he's known for. Most of the time when he does it, it's clean.

My two favorite stevens hits:
1. Eric Lindros
2. Ron Francis (made a run at stevens ended up crawling back to the bench)

OK, my stance on Scott Stevens is as follows: he is nothing but a f*cking cheapshot artist.

Anyway, I think this season will be a three-horse race, between the Red Wings, Devils, and the Avs (take a wild guess at which club i support). The only reason I put Colorado among the favourites is that they went out and reunited Kariya and Selanne. Its obvious that they failed in their main objective, and that was getting a replacement for Patrick Roy. I'm sorry, but Aebischer just isn't gonna cut it. So, I'm torn between placing Colorado among the favourites and the second tier.
