Finally, i thought this wasn't going to end... Was getting sick of it already...

Good luck to him, let's see if he's really worth of so many novels.

I want to be the first saying it: he'll be out of Madrid and playing for a side of the size of Betis in 2 years time.

He won't live up to his price tag playing with Real Madrid. You should loan him to a mid-table springboard club for a couple of years, at least.

Based on his Confed Cup performances I think Real overpaid.

Well 99% of the transfer fees payed today are too much. I do agree though, people are expecting too much from him, someone already sayed that he should start ahead Owen, because hes better then him...I doubt he would do something remarkable in his first year at a big club.

He was pretty average save a good half or two thats if you watched all the games and not just read AS/Marca...Adriano was 1000 times better

More than one month of drama with the player in rebelion and "depressed" for ending up paying the buy-out clause. Even Abramovich is better at negotiating.

Finally the saga is over.

I would have preferred another club, but I'm glad Robinho got where he wanted. He is living his dream now and I'm happy for him. But I still think it's a mistake on both parts.
Robinho will hardly be able to live up to expectations now. Maybe if Madrid had won the league or the Champions and there would be less pressure, but now... And how old is he? If I were Florentino, I wouldn't be looking to salvage my presidency with a kid like Robinho. He is awesome and everything, but bringing him as the biggest signing during a crisis... too much burden for such a young player. I hope it doesn't get in the way of his development.

And Robinho was nothing special in the Confederations. But that doesn't really matter. I've seen him vs Argentina in Brazil and he was phenomenal. Great technique.
Also, the price... :funny: Santos really took advantage of Madrid's situation.

All in all, nice buy.

Overpaid...
he's awesome and everything, but I still think he's not worth that much... and if he has that attitude towards Santos, which seems to be the club he supports, then his attitude towards Madrid can't be much better....
