El Diablo Rojo
Starting XI
Well, well more pre-season friendlies.
River Plate won 1-0 over Defensa y Justicia.
Racing Club drew 0-0 with Tristuan Suarez, the third friendly of Racing and still couldn't win and what causes more worries is that they couldn't even score a single goal.
Arsenal FC drew 1-1 wth Platense.
Argentinos Juniors lost 1-0 with Chacarita Juniors.
San Lorenzo drew 0-0 with Tigre.
Gimnasia J. drew 0-0 with San Martín T.
Independiente won 1-0 over Talleres RE.
And Boca Juniors drew 3-3 with Atlas, in Mexico, and then lost 3-1 on the penalties, in Boca, both Bobadilla and Datolo got to play. It's obvious that Morel Rodriguez is fighting for the spot of Krupoviesa, he does the same dirty fouls.
Some of the coming friendlies. On Saturday: Boca Juniors vs. Tigres UANL, San Lorenzo vs. Gimnasia LP and Estudiantes LP vs. Argentinos Juniors. The sunday: River Plate vs. Independiente Rivadavia. And that's all i think.
The problems seem to continue at Rosario Central even though Astrada already resigned and it's confirmed that Gorosito will replace him, the supporters protest in front of the club house and beg for the managment of the club to leave, since most of the supporters agreed with Astrada's plan for this new season.
Regarding San Lorenzo, well it was founded in April of 1908. they have 9 first division championships(being the 4th top team between the teams that won them the most), 1 second division championship and 2 international cups(One is the Sudamericana 2002 the other one is the Mercosur 2001 a tournament that doesn't exist anymore). Their all-time rival is Huracán, which is actually on the second division, they also have a big rivalry with Vélez Sarsfield and Boca Juniors. Their stadium can hold up to 43,000 spectators, they have been playing there since the 80's actually their old stadium could hold up to 75,000 spectators and back in the time it was the stadium used by the national team for their matches. San Lorenzo is also referred as "El cuervo(the crow)" or "El ciclón(the cyclone)". If you come to Buenos Aires and ever plan to go to a match of San Lorenzo, there's something tricky the complete name is Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro, but it isn't even close of the neighborhood of Almagro the club is actually located in the neighborhood of Boedo. Their official site is http://www.sanlorenzo.com.ar i believe it's spanish only.
