Guys! Do you want your favorite game be better? Do you like FIFA 2003 more than FIFA 98/99? Every year EA makes games worse and worse, but you are, like a kids, jumping around EA and clapping one's hand!
Stop weasel! Stop excuse all bugs! Be critical and soon you will have really the best game, but not fake...

Come with me to play ISS3 on PC this spring

It's a sin!

Dude, it's like a sin to criticize EA on this forum without one of the somebody coming up with some BS reason why we shouldn't complain. One moderator told us last week that it's realistic that you can header the ball when you're on your own! Apparently he thinks that nobody ever plays a quick header to gain an advantage or heads towards another player or goal unless there's another player on your ass. Still what do we know? We've only been watching the game and playing it for decades. How can our knowledge possibly compare with that of the moderators?

Sarcasm you understand but you're wasting your time criticizing the game here. Everybody's just interested in great graphics. They don't care if the game has the playability of FIFA International Soccer on the Megadrive as long as thye can edit the faces and uniforms.

This isn't a soccer gaming forum, this is an editing forum. Count the number of graphics and editing posts compared to gameplay discussions.

Remember, a difference of opinion merits a Yellow card so be careful.

You're kidding right?

Are you serious? Did you not know that ISS3 is coming to the PC?

It's being released at the end of March in Europe. I've pre-ordered my version from www.game.uk.com and getting it delivered to a friend in England who's going to mail it to me.

You can see the release date on:

http://www.issextreme.com/

The gameplay is bound to kick FIFA 2003's butt as ISS2 is far superior to FIFA 2003 in gameplay.

I agree what you have said there. I am also playing FIFA 2003 and that’s the only choice I got at the moment, but as soon as I get WE6 for my PL2 than I will have a 'Good Bye FIFA' thread, and all of us who wants to say their good byes will say it in that thread. But of course I will play and try the Demo each year when EA releases their game (who knows they might surprise us, I doubt it) and if I don't like it than back to WE6.

I disagree with that. Fifa is superior to ISS2. I own both.

And before you get carried away PES2 is better than them both.

But out of the 3 ISS2 is definately the worst game in my opinion.

I'm only playing Fifa 2003 at the moment because I got a bit bored of PES2 after the couple of months I'd played it for. Still going back to it once I've finished this season on my game.

2 seasons in Fifa and 14 on PES2. Guess which one I think is better.

Very good words, man! It shows everybody that FIFA from EA more the soccer constructor than the game. Everybody wants edit rosters, puts in the game own kits, balls, nets, banners, etc - it is the destination of this "game"!..
But I want to play - not to edit, and EA does not give me chance to be happy playing their FIFA.

but, what he means with always still? What I want to say: Fifa 2003 is a super play, not only, because it concerns football, NO!
it is so greatly because one so much edit can!!!

Oh my God, if the day comes that people will move on to the game they really like and say sayonara to this forum, it would be better than Christmas, St. Paddy's, Easter and International Free Hooker Day rolled into one.

Can all the hammerheads here agree that when WE6 is released that they will leave and never come back - please? Come on, I've had to listen to your tripe all these years and the pathological bitching - do me a favour for once and sod off for a decade or so.

This is a forum, a forum is made to talk to people and interchange ideas. if ur only defence against people saying that fifa sucks, is blind your eyes saying "nanananana... leave I dont wanna hear it" then u r the one that has no place in the forum, as you have no opinions to share

2 unchangeable rules about games

1. no game is perfect

2. everyone likes different things

I like the editing side of the game and games where you can bring in a form of fantasy, make yourself on the game, or make transfers to reflect rumours rather than reality (eg I sent Kleberson to Leeds), this means you can make the game interesting because your own imagination comes into it rather than just the gameplay. I also happen to think the gameplay in FIFA is good although not perfect.
Some of the other games have better arcade style gameplay and thats fair enough.

The idea of a forum is to exchange views and there will always be someone with the alternative view to you, the odd thing is the very people who are so keen to defend "free speech" seem to be the ones who get so uptight if someone opposes them.

That is what I say: most of people like FIFA for possibility to edit it. But other part of people don't want and don't like to edit - they want just to play good game! Now, with FIFA 2003, it is impossible - many mistakes which happens in the game do not depend on player, but AI. And you cannot fix it. This year we really have superficially beautiful game - but inside we have beta.
Too many but... And still no patch... EA doesn't want to make their games better - EA wants to make new games every year, even with 60 bugs... You don't see all this bugs under great graphics, because you need only great graphics for making you editing of kits and balls... It's you way - and this game for you. It's not my way - and this game not for me...

Yes, ISS3 will be on PC this spring.

There is nothing constructive here. Many people here hate EA for the same reason others hate McDonalld's or WalMart. They attack the symbol over the product.

The product, as I see it, is pretty good minus a few bugs. I will try all footie games available on PC in North America with an open mind, but it certainly won't be because you guys spent the better part of your sad lives here thinking EA gives a f u c k about what you think. Your comments aren't going to shape FIFA's development or strategy or programming. If you believe what you say, that EA are concerned ony with making money - (it is a business in a capitalist world) move on to a game you feel better represents your desires, not come back year after year hoping for an improvement. Guys like Tristan, you've never been pleased with FIFA yet ... why do you bother? I can guarantee this much, when FIFA 2004 is released, after you've all complained for a year about how much the series sucks, you'll buy it again. I suspect you'll buy it with hopes that it does suck, so you have fuel to complain for another 12 months and annoy those who are here because we like to program.

If these other games WES2, Konami whatever, etc. - and I'll concede I've never played them - were as good as their "supporters" say they are, I don't know why they are in this forum amassing hundreds and thousands of posts. I'm not one to say how you should spend your free time, but for the love of God, try and salvage a bit of a life you witless dummies.

All my love.

Here's something that will change your mind.

As long as you're not more interested in editing the superfical aspect of the game called FOOTBALL..

Go play WE6:FE.... and see if you can't understand the many who come here every once in a while and vent on about how they've been jipped by the cr@ppy game EA's put out every year.

Some may never understand until they try it themself.
After I was fed up with FIFA2001 and the demo for FIFA2002, I've got WE5 then WE6... Now I see wut all the fuss wuz about.

;)

I never said I hate EA - I always say "I hate FIFA 2003". Why? I still play FIFA World Cup 2002 and I like it. FIFA 2003 has no bugs - but defects, imperfections - all of them could be fixed, but EA prefered to sell us unfinished product instead of finishing existing perfect game - WC 2002 - and make from it full version with clubs and clubs' tournaments...
