As far as I know, here in Argentina the oldest club is Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata, fouded in 1887.

Futebol Clube do Porto was re-founded in 1906, because was already been founded in 1893 as Football Club Porto but ended some time later. The club re-appeared in 1906, so some people say that the fundation date is 1906 and others say 1893 counting with the first FCP.

the official date was 1906 but Pinto da Costa changed it to 1893.
