I've just read a few post now saying the same thing about real slow game speeds even from a guy with 2.5Ghz , 512 DDR Ram,Radeon 9500 pro machine. This cant be happening can it my PC meets the recommended specs but if a 2.5Ghz beast is having trouble us lower end guys are screwed. I just hope this isnt true that Konami have done a ISS 3 on us. If they have there is no excuse for this and I wont buy the full version.

Its not simply that to players and game moves in slow mo...that would be bad enough but the actuall functioning of the game is unbelievably slow. Button reaction times are useless, the game, to put is simply, is unplayable. I simply cannot play a football game when the players on the pitch do not respond to your commands.
Ive got to say...all that fuss about this game....its utter crap.
My Drivers are up to date (i just checked) i have a GeForce 4, 2 Ghz, 256 Ram and it plays terrible.

Yeah, it's really dodgy on Nvidia's part labelling that card a Geforce 4. Souped up Geforce2 basically (:/) . Better than a GF3 on Nvidia's tech paper but not in practice.

Its frankly ridiculous that i can run games like Homeworld 2, Call of Duty and such, games with superior graphics and yet this game, with cartoon like textures is apparently out of my reach?
FIFA 2004's graphics are far better than this game and yet it runs far better...somethings not adding up if its my card...im not convinced.

I'll give you an example of what i mean.
I just tried it again...dumbed the graphics down to 1024X728, beckham with the ball, making a run up the flank, press long pass and across to cross it in, long pass decides not to work and beckham turns the way im pressing...ok i think, we'll go this way then
, Owen is making a run thru the middle, pass! pass! i push frantically...beckham is not listening, continues to trot towards goal...ok, shoot! shoot! i command...nope, beckham doesnt feel like it, Beckham ends up running across the face of goal with the keeper standing there watching him from 4 feet away, beckham trots past the far post and NOW the long pass kicks in and he thumps the ball away from goal and out about 50 yards back up the pitch.
Now tell me this isnt crazy on at least 2 levels.
1. My player, over whome i am supposed to be god, does not respond to certain commands for lags of up to 30 seconds.
2. The goal keeper stood there and watched Beckham trot past him 4 feet from his line!!!

Well ok, but dont you think it is just a little bit crap when, if your graphics card isnt what they want, nearly but not quite the game is there for unplayable?
ive just tried again, set the graphics to 800x600, medium detail.
The game run a lot faster yet is is just as unplayble as before. The players are still completely unresponsive, if i press forwards once, simply tap it the player will continue to run fowards until he loses the ball or runs out of bounds, cant pass, cant shoot cant do anything...
For a game that is supposed to be compedative with FIFA it is simply idiotic to make it completely unworkable on a system that has more than the recommended in all areas bar not quite being there in the graphics cards.
Unless there is a solution im missing this game is a complete flop.

Sorry, to you maybe but to me a complete success.
Just tried it at 1280x1028 and ran smooth as...has got to be the GFX card as no other game will run smooth on my system at that resolution..diff thread so my specs again

Im just really disapointed, not just for me but for the majority of people out there who will not be able to play it...it seems like bad business to make the game so selective.
I was looking forward to playing it after seeing some of the goal clips on these forums, and from what i played the potential looks fine...im not doubting its a good game but for me simply not to be able to play it on a machine like mine;
