Pes3 Sux!!!!

So i got PES3 today, started the game, wanted to change my controls so i go to the menu and i see the damn PLAYSTATION2 joystick thing picture sitting there with all the geometrical shapes on it... I DONT KNOW WHAT THOSE ARE FOR!!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT EACH ONE DOES??? so anyway i start a game, choose Bulgaria vs Belgium and what do i find out? ALL THE BULGARIAN PLAYER'S NAMES ARE SPELLED WRONG!!!!! I MEAN WAS THE GUY THAT TYPED THE NAMES DRUNK OR SOMETHING??? THATS THE MOST PATHETIC THING IVE EVER SEEN!!! DISRESPECT TO ANOTHER NATION!!!!!!

so yeah... i just deleted the game and im gonna burn it tomorrow.

(great gameplay by the way)

hmmm do you know that PES can not have legal names thats y its spelled wrong

it depends on the licensing of that particular countries FA. for instance my home country Ireland has all the correct player names because we dont have enough big players to ask for money to use the rights. now look at holland, their FA sells its license, and all its player names are spelt funny(to get around the license) because they think they can make money off selling those rights. i would think, from what you have said that the bulgarian FA feel the same way as the holland FA.

I think u just started this sh*tty thread to flame PES, 'coz ur arguments are messed up....

First off, I'm a newbie to PES also (ex-FIFA lover ), but I didn't give up of the game just because it was confusing me at first try (and it was)....

So b4 writing idiotic stuff, u should get some info about the game.... then you'll have some moral to come here, not to post retarded flames, but to do some constructive criticism about the game and hopefully find a solution to ur probs.....

I just think ur a god damn flamer anyway.....

i think you posted in this "Sh*tty thread" because you like to stir the proverbial Sh*t.

if you read the post, which i dont think you did, you would have read that he likes the gameplay . but he thought that konami didnt pay enough attention to his beloved national team by spelling their names wrong. not realizing that it was a work around for the license.

now, if you want people to post constructively in the forums why dont you lead by example.

Actually I did read the post... and the thread title too...

That's why I'm still saying that it SUX..... BTW, what does it matter if he did eulogize the gameplay, when all the rest of his comments are crap?? So, just 'coz the guy knows ***t about the game, he has all the right to come in this forum and write the way he did??

I was as much annoyed as he's right now, 'coz some aspects of the game were confusing me as well... but instead of coming here, posting my anger and showing my "ignorance" (yes, he's an ignorant concerning PES, like I was a couple of days ago), I tried to gather some more info about the game. And now, only two days after my first look at PES, I'm very familiarized with it.....

i lead by example. so instead of calling him/her stoopid. my response to this thread was factual and addressed his issues with PES3. your response was that of a trolling fanboy that basicly amounts to, i like it so you must be stoopid. regardless of how well informed he is of PES3 he is entitled to his opinion, as is anyone, unless they live in a pes3 dictatorship.

Why is it that the self-proclaimed righteous elite call people "fanboys" simply because they (succesfully I might add) feel the urge to answer stupid claims and ignorant evaluations such as this one?

I think that if someone is "not well informed" then his opinion is subject to the strictest criticism, simply by virtue of the fact that his opinion itself is built on flawed logic...so someone who's played this game for 10 minutes cannot have an opinion worthy of respect.

maybe if you would have done a little more research, you would have known that Konami dosen't have all the licenses, and they had to change the names to get around that......

Tell me profifas, when you watch a game (if you do) do you piss in your pants hearing the name Ronaldo or seeing the 02 sign on the arsenal jersey or are you just amazed by the incredible goal that Pavel Nedved just scored from 30yrd.

My point is you cant say your a football fan when your starring idioticaly at FIFA's true kits and names but knowing it has a crappy gameplay compared to the realism of WE/PES.

True football fans with a football mentality (meaning thinking plays
through passes, etc.) ,wich I know a lot of you profifas dont have,
who have tried WES stick with it as it is much more rewarding for them. But they should stop bashing fifa lovers as they have to understand not everyone is smart enough to appreciate football for what it is.

That's the opinion of an ex fifa player who was tired of seeing the game getting worse every year and now will never look back again

The reason why Holland have not given any rights to Pro Evo is because of a court case about a year ago. TIF-(this is football) game used real dutch player names without getting the licence and there was a massive arguement and debate about it so they now dont give any rights to other games. In previous iss games even if they didnt have the rights the names would be written like this: Davids-Dabids,but due to the court case and the sueing action they now have to make do with NO 10 and NO 5 to spell player names.

THere are loads of patches that you can install. The patches will change to real player names, club names, real kits and boots so plz get some info before you write this.

I got a patched version of WE7 for ps2. Its got all the real kits for every single team(including logos on shirts). I have it saved to my computer. If u want I will send u a copy but u need a modchip on your ps2.
