the movie was great, but there were a lot of random scenes.

sparrow's dad, calypso turning into crabs, the Kraken that just ended up on the shore just like that, the exchange between sparrow and turner before the war.. wtf?!

nevertheless, enjoyed the movie. much much better than the 2nd one, which was gay.

I thought it was alright, wasnt so keen on the elevation of the fantasy elements - suddenly there are gods and an underworld? - but I liked the beginning in Singapore, thought the Pirates council was a good idea and like all the different pirate lords and I thought the final climax was pretty fantastic. I've always enjoyed these movies, just about the only blockbusters of recent times which I like, and while they are a bit trashy and easy, they have enough talent on board and enough originality to make them still worthwhile, in my opinion. I'm glad this was the last, however.

A good movie to see in the big screen, but yeha it had very random moments. Nothing special though. 7/10
