so, i assumed the console with chrome font and blu-ray drive border is 60gb bundle?

that chrome PS3 looks ****in beautiful (Y) and what do they mean by analog L2/R2 triggers? are they gonna be like the X-Box's L/R buttons?


and also, I hope that whole motion detector crap can be turned on/off and isn't mandatory for certain games.. some people can get very animated with their controllers ya know :$

GTAIII was the first true next-gen title, lets hope GTAIV does the same.

There will be two bundles (or 'configs' as they called them): a 20GB version and a 60GB version. However, the differences go far deeper than that.

The 20GB config does not feature any HDMI ports. It does not support WiFi, and there is no card reader for Memory Stick, Compact Flash and SD. It has four USB ports and one ethernet port (instead of the six USB ports and three ethernet ports shown last year).

The 60GB config has one HDMI port (instead of the two shown last year), it supports WiFi and has a card reader, and also features the four USB ports and one ethernet port.

just confirmed the chrome font PS3 was the 60gb bundle. nothing special on the L2 and R2 button, works the same like PS2 controller. the middle button "will have" special function, may be allow you to jump to the home screen.

basically the motion sensing technology can be yes or no, provided developer design the game based on that. if the game didn't design by based on that, it is useless after all (so far only warhawk takes advantage on that technology)

EDIT: my bad to say there is nothing special on the L2 and R2 buttons. actually they are pressure-sensitive :$

how many times have we said this? the ******* thing will sell better if you do ONE bundle. Two bundles confuse buyers, i actually KNOW this.

Its so so so stupid, learn some lessons from why the PSX and PS2 were popular Sony!

I simply can't wait for PS3.. for 100 storey destructable buildings in Mercenaries 2, for GTA 4 (which I will no doubt be obsessed with for weeks), and so so so much more.. :rockman:

are you easily confused? how hard is it to read the box/do some research/ask at the store? it really doesnt affect sales, if people want to buy it, theyll buy it.

"I really want a PS3, but theres two bundles and i dont know which one to buy, I'm too lazy to read up so I just won't buy either one"... how likely is that?

Worst/(Best for Microsoft) case scenario, someone will buy a 360 Core for $300, theyll buy a memory card for $50, and sometime in the future theyll realize they dont wanna **** around with memory cards and they want to play their old xbox games so theyll return to buy the hard drive for $100.

Voight would be an awesome Ocelot :o but Dafoe looks a bit too old to play Otacon. and Scarlett's too... curvy to play Meryl :brow: Liquid = Edge from WWE.
