Yes of course I did do that but the thing is it doesnt get rid of it completely and it just keeps coming back.

ive got 3 CD drives, suddenly they all pop open
then this popup comes up and says "if ur CD drives have just opened u have spyware, click to remove"
sumhow they made it into my homepage, so it was freaking me out, but then i fixed it
i was on this site, but im not sure if this site was the cause

I've had that, it is on this site. I ran adaware, and it was all solved. Remember to put your browser's security up after reinstalling. :p

It shouldn't be popping up anymore. Look in the code... there isn't any pop up or pop under code there anymore.

Spyblaster is a great program, it doesnt get rid of spyware, but I think it prevents some of it from getting on to your computer or something like that.

I never got anything but at a point over the last few weeks SG basically became unvisitable because I had to wait 20 minutes for a page too load while it decided whether I was gonna get a pop up or not. Its fine now though

a program from www.shopathomeselect.com always asks me to be online.. why? I mean, it says

"You or a program have requested information from www.shopathomeselect.com. What connection do you want to use?"

How can I delete the 'program'

u need to download the uninstaller to uninstall that search bar.. u should find it under the add/remove programs section.. it will then lead u to the site where u can d/l the uninstaller.

I've had the same problem you did with the exact same toolbar, what you need to do is download a program called "hijack this"...i think it is freeware...it solved all of my problems..:)

I have used HijackThis on several occasions, but a word of warning: only check off the stuff that you think is causing the problem. Otherwise, visit the forums at spywareinfo.com and tell them about your problems, and they'll point you in the right direction.

the toolbars some of you guys have are not from SG, you get those onll from porn....im not kidding, unless you have a pop-up blocker, must of the time the popups you get when....some evil person replaces the bible links with porn, are downloading something on your PC. :)

I finally got rid of it. Went to the support forums and looked how another person was told to get rid of it and copied that.

I have that toolbar Essedon has aswell. When you right click and close it, it comes back up :|

Im gonna download that program and c if it helps. What do i do?

When I used it, I erased most of the stuff that was on the list, except the obvious ones like google and yahoo:)
