The Paredes affair was a funny one.

Pinto da Costa was all cocky because he had rejected a 15 million euro offer from Barcelona to buy the Paraguayan, but ended up selling him to Reggina for 4,8 million.

But we can't deny that Paredes is an excellent player...

Junior, won't come almost for sure. His agent say he won't, although he says he would like the idea.

Polga, is a possibility amongst others.

The biggest financial effort would be the transfer. And to convince AC Milan to sell one of its greatest players, if not the greatest.

Looking dark already? And we didn't even talked about numbers...

1. According to Marca, Milan would want 12 Mill Euros. Too cheap, Berlusconi is crazy enough to push it to 20/25 Mill.

2. His wage is one of the highest in AC Milan's wage bill. It's said to be around 350.000 €/month. And it's impossible he would drop more than 50% of his current salary to come to Benfica. His hearth is big, but not that big...

3. The shirt number 10, is still Zahovic's. And Camacho doesn't have any plan to sell him. A bust-up because of a number between those two?!

4. Paying around 150.000 €/month to a substitute (which Zahovic would be) is suicide in the current market conjuncture.

Adidas may help, but they won't work out miracles.

Camacho has now renewed, and I have total faith in him. I think this Ednilson thing is just to get the kid going. It's what he did with Armando and Fehér. He said that they may be traded then they both started playing good, besides loaning out Ednilson maybe good for a season or so. There is no way in hell that he'll break into the starting 11 with Tiago and Petit there.

Camacho isn't planning on loaning Ednilson, he's going to be released...just like Armando and Feher (who according to you started playing well, even though I've never seen it). Feher might as well be a Beira Mar player already and there's already been serious talk of Armando and Ednilson going to Braga, not on loan either..

Tiago won't stay at Benfica I guarentee it, too many big Italian clubs interested in him. Yes, Ednilson would have a lot of competition at Benfica, but so will Alex with Sokota, Nuno Gomes, and Mantorras there, but we still bought him..

Fehér went out with a bang and that hat-trick will keep him without being sold for another season. Armando did well, he plays like Miguel but is obviously not as good as him, but still he's good off the bench. And yes recently, like H45V said, Cabral, Ednilson and Fehér will most likely be loaned out to Beira-Mar.

by the way...probably ricardo is on his way to benfica...and i've heard moreira is not entering the deal with boavista...wich means he will be a substitute next season...or seasons

that's terrible for a young player like moreira...at his age he needs regular first team football to develop himself

if ricardo is really coming to benfica i think they should seriously consider on loan moreira

They're gonna fight for the title just like the last year... What i know is that our team is much more stronger than Benfica, and if we buy Benni McCarthy and keep Deco and Postiga, Porto will win the title again without any chance...

Also with Ricardo (one of Europe's best goalkeepers right now) and Junior almost here, our team could very much win the title. Porto had a Cinderella-like season which will not repeat itself. You guys will not have another 86 point season, trust me.
