And yes, Ahmed, I can understand why people are offended. I understand that to deface the image of the phophet is one of the top sins in Islam.

So yes, I can see why they're pissed off, but the terrorists threats take it a bit over the line, one guy had a sign saying "Europe, your 9/11 will come"

I can understand if they are offended by it, but some of the protesting is overstepping the line. Boycott the international papers, food products, fair enough, you do that, no one cares. But death threats, bomb threats, sandals, burning flags, waiting outside EU compounds pointing AK-47's and holding banners threatening a 9/11 in Europe? How very ironic it is that this religion is complaining about a cartoon that depicts Islam/Mohammad as a terrorist bomber, then followers of the religion do exactly what is depicted within the cartoon.

no Ahmed, i DO understand where you're coming from and i can see why a select few religious freaks would find this offending. But seriously you're never going to get the rest of the world to understand! We've grown up drawing silly pictures of Jesus on the front of our R.E books as kids, watching silly cartoons on TV that portray jesus as being gay or something. Or to some extent you could say we see so much abuse to our national leaders, that we are used to any kind of of "prominant" figure being ridiculed.

I suppose for the Muslim world you just dont get this, and this is why you are totally right in that you say we can be here all day going around in circles, its also why in my first post i said that i shouldnt post here

However, "Europe your 9/11 will come" for a cartoon? seriously unless Bobby made that up, whoever said that is a wanker who needs to grow up and see theres more to life than religion.
