Remember, if you have an idea for a question you would like to see, PM it to me, and each week one question will be selected based on the quality of the question and it's subject. I will not choose the questions on my own, but this is the best way to ensure that we don't keep discussing the same things.

Help save a baby from rape by sending a question.

To expand, what makes the perfect footballer? Thought this was interesting as we just saw two of the best examples face each other in Cristiano Ronaldo and Yaya Toure and both were impressive (and they'll face each other soon in the Draft).

Arnau

NGR LVR
Maradona were short, fat, one footed and poor heather and he is still the best ever. most complet is not the best one.

Filipower

Bunburyist
Pelé, Cristiano Ronaldo... Cruyff except perhaps for the heading.

I wouldn't say Yaya is the best example. He's physically perfect but technically he's "just" very good, plus his left foot isn't amazing.

yoyo913

Team Captain
He would have the size of Zigic, the speed of Walcott, the dribbling of Messi, the attacking instinct of Ronaldo9, the defensive instinct of Mascherano, the playmaking of Xavi, the drive of Roy Keane, the consistancy and durability of Zanetti and the beauty of Zoltan Gera.

Make America Great Again
The straight line speed of Walcott, sure, but Messi's acceleration and shiftiness (because of those tiny legs) are much more important.

He wouldn't necessarily need the tiny legs. He would just have to be the greatest physical specimen in human history to be able to do what Messi does with long legs.

hard to say, cause you kinda rule out attacking players if you bring up defensive abilities too. Zidane for me. the thing I loved about him was despite the fact he had an amazing shot, he never abused it, only went for it when he knew he could hit the target. I honestly don't remember defenders blocking his shots or even crosses. I know it sounds weird, but for me that means he had massive talent (obviously) but he knew how to make the most of it. that's the thing that makes me hate players like Nani for instance, so much skill yet rarely anything good comes out of it. to get my point, imagine what someone like Nedved or Scholes would do with that technique, not saying that they lacked it btw.

midfielders aside, it would be Henry for me.

I think a lot of people are going for 'best' which I don't think was the question's intent. I think the 'perfect' footballer would be one who would be worldclasd in any position, so Messi isn't a canfidate. Ronaldo comes closer, despite lacking in defense, because he is much more of a physical specimen. Yaya, 2008 Essien and 2010 Schwinsteiger would be closest IMO. Ibra and Drogba are close, too. A combination of Ibra, Yaya and a top fullback would probably yield the best player, without getting into Ftankensteining a player with traits from every top player.

Hishnazi didn't vote for me in the last round, the racist.

Sources reports that Seedorf's crossbar is so big his new teammates in Brazil don't want to shower with him.
