Quick question for F1 racing fans.

Well, just went to blockbuster to get a few dvd's but i bumped into the N64 section, and i loved the F1 game that i've played many times before and it was there !!!

''Grand Prix II 1998'' Class game lol, all the tracks, everything 1st race finished behind the legendary Hakkinen, fellow team mate i was Coulthard of course.

Actualy i had a n64 and this game looked prety crap compared to Grand Prix 1 :P
And looks even more crap after u play GP4 and F1c on pc

I got GP4 in the mail today. Going to look for some patches later. F1C is still in the works...

How in the hell do you customize the keyboard or game controller in GP4????? It has the worst interface EVA!!!

papyrus' grand prix legends (1998) might be the best formula 1 game ever released. that's probably the most realistic and hardest racing game out there. only problem is that's outdated, but i think no game has ever reached the realism (mainly on gameplay, physics, etc.) of gpl. now that's simulation.

last year it was released the non-official gpl 2004 demo, but i've never played it.

by the way, papyrus used to make some great games years ago. i still remember the fun i had playing nascar and indycar racing with some friends via modem (i mean no internet involved).

It is a gr8 game but it is also about cars without wings. So it cannot simulate in an accurate way todays cars.

I used to love Grand Prix. Bought it over ten years ago still enjoying the 1 pixel graphics.

Man setting up the game is a bitch. I have a cpu that runs HL2 with no problems, yet this 3 year old game gives it trouble. I don't get it. I didn't have any fun with it yesterday. I guess I just have to learn a little more about it.
BTW The 2004 megapatch is currently unavailable.

For a Gp4 2004 season update go to gp4 italia to get their "megapatch". There is also an update at Simracingworld but its forum members only
