Yeah, i guess so. Edu scored that sad own goal and if Friedel is in great form then it's not so easy to score.Originally posted by Amika

THIS SUCKS - Seaman hurry up and join Spurs, Wenger b*gger off back to France he is a $hit manager, i've never rated him, not even when we've won doubles.

MUAHAHAHAHAA this is just TOO pathetic to even read. Three games lost and there you have it. Blame it on Seaman and on the manager. Lovely! Wenger is a good coach. I f*cking hate the arrogant, "we'll stay unbeaten this season", frog but he is a quality manager. The way he got Arsenal playing at the start of the season was absolutely amazing, and deserves nothing but respect. Arsenal have a bit of a form slump.... ManUtd had it, and we can only wish for Liverpool to drop points. If that happens the race is wide open again.... waht a season this can be.....!
I've never been so frustrated reading a series of posts in these forums. That is ****ing un****ingbelievable. Everything you said is... crazy! Honestly, have you watched Arsenal play? Have you seen there year by year improvement? Wenger is possibly the top manager in the world right now. He is a great teacher, tactician, and incredible on the transfer market.Originally posted by ytwoaone
I prefer managers who are great tacticians and good in the transfer market (i.e. Dario Gradi, Venebles, Sir Bobby Robson, possibly Tigana), and who are prepared to change tactics halfway thru a game, not those who play long ball (Taylor, Graham) or those who talk a good game (i.e. Wenger, Eriksson)
btw - most managers are crap, Wenger is amongst the best of the rest, but if I was looking for my ideal football manager it certainly woudn't be him

This summer, Gilberto was easily the best buy for the money.
Petit, I never liked him, not a big loss considering his replacement(s). Overmars? Has he not more than replaced him? Pires, Ljungberg, Henry, Wiltor all on the wings?
Cygan?
Lauren?
Wiltord?
Campbell?
Edu?
Toure?
etc.
You're insane, get your head checked, and stop calling yourself an Arsenal fan (little own a soccer fan), it's embarrassing.
Honestly, you're on drugs. I would say Arsenal plays probably the most beautiful and lethal style. Every single crappy team wacks the ball up the park wide, wacks it in, and hopes for some big Heskey-like player to nod it in. That style sucks, reminds me of north american soccer too much. The way the use the wings is beautiful. Have you watched an Arsenal game before? Henry, Wiltord, Pires, and Ljungberg are all world class wingers.Originally posted by ytwoaone
He talks a very good game, but he is one dimensional (i.e. too much reliance on thru passes to speedy strikers, not enough wing play and crosses, especially as our strikers are quite good in the air, there tends to be little variation in terms of trying to work the ball into the box)
