Pretty much no team in Champion's League is easy, especially Roma, they've just been to unstable this season, but if they have one of their good games against you guys, it's gonna be tough for you, but nontheless, you're still the clear favorites to go through, but don't take it for granted.

I did not want to offend you. I also don't consider Roma as a great european team but they have enough potential to make a surprise.

Good ol' Mr. Calderon! Roma will be tough. Heck we have trouble against cellar teams in la Liga so anyone saying Roma's easy is kiddin themselves. A few good matches like Liverpool vs. Inter, Arsenal vs. Milan. Those I am curious about. On to El Clasico! Guti is a serious doubt...got hurt in training, Most likely Baptista will start again. Dinho seems to have troubles with Frank again. What's the deal there? I guess Dinho is definately out of Barca next season. I'll stick w/ my 1-3 prediction. Call me crazy but I don't see this Barca team as strong as they were a couple years ago. I think we will play fairly comfortable and not too tense given our psychological points cushion.

I am ok with Roma, could have been worse; but it wont be easy. As I predicted they are a hard team to beat with a mean streak up forward with that kid Vucinic....so we better watch out.... I am glad we didnt get Liverpool or Lyon, for some reason I fear Lyon....anyway,

As far as el Classico is concerned; It worries me that a lot of our people are falling into predictionns; into the score is this or that....shut the hell up, go there and play your hearts out....Camp Nou is along with Bernabeu one of the fortresses of World Football, you dont go there and just take a 3-1 win....I believe we can win, but it will not be easy at all....the most underated part of the Barca side is their defense IMO, it is really good....

Damn, just what I was afraid off. Freakin Roma! I dont know if our defense is capable of defending a master like Totti. We have a world class defense, but that guy really is a phenomenon. Lets hope we can contain him. Also with Aquilani, De Rossi and Mancini in the team, I would be afraid. Its a tough team to play! Really tough. But if we put a good result in Rome then we are gonna eat them in the Bernabeu. Thats for sure.

About the Classico. Lets hope we can give everything. I have great expectations of this match. It will be a fantastic match im sure. 2 young teams against each other. I must say though that we must consider starting Heinze over Marcelo. I really rate Marcelo higher than Heinze, I really do, but we might need the experience of Heinze. I´m sure Baptista-Diarra combo is good enough to stop Xavi and Guddie. Robinho must fight it out with Puyol and we all know who is the favourite to win that battle lol. The man that im really afraid of is Etoo. Lets hope Pepe continues with his superb form! Ramos will have a tough time against Giovani and Abidal so I hope Sneijder helps out.

Relax mate. It's just a little loose prediction! Geez. Regardless what people predict it won't affect the outcome so the team will play the same regardless what millions usually predict for fun! It's like placing a bet w/o the cash. Chill out a bit!

Well I wasnt irate or anything, I was just comenting; i guess I came across angry....I didnt say it wasnt ok to predict, but as you know, the human psyche tends to work in such a way that overconfidence can negate talent specially in sports. It is better for athletes to be quiet and do their job, let their play do the speaking...Calderon is just dumb to me; no actually, he is just such a huge Real Madrid fan that he often forgets he is also the president of the club and thus its public and professional face....

So no I dont have a HUGE problem with predictions, but if you notice all the previas and articles, from the Barca camp all you hear is how hard they will play etc etc, from our camp all you hear is predictions.....Hubris (excesive Pride) according to the greeks was the greatest downfall of men, Pride is good, too much pride is an assasin.


As far as Roma...they are an enigma of sort. I will tell you that Totti is slowly declining, that means that one day he could be superb while for the next five he's average...so hopefully we catch him in a couple of those average days...all depends also on how the teams arrive to that game in February...By then the final straight of La Liga will be in sight, and so we will know how well or how poorly we both are too early to tell now

Barca fans are predicting as well. Everyone does it for fun. As long as the players themselves don't predict, I don't have a problem. I predicted 1-3 but of course, it may very well end up totally different and I am well aware of that. I'm just guessing for the fun of it. I think our players will perform fine. Anything less than a draw is unacceptable.

My feeling for getting Roma was correct than, well not the worst of draws for us.

Going to be a huge game, I would be happy with a draw TBH but either way should be a good game. See everyone than.

predictions mean nothing. just opinions is all. i think roma are hot and cold, some weeks they are good. some they are terrible(7-1) but when they are good they are not winning by big margins thats for sure. seen a couple of matches this season and i am optimistic, anyways if we want to win this competition then we have to beat the best but i'm glad inter and liverpool and arsenal and milan have been drawn together haha.

now barca,
this season they have been saved my messi so many times. now he is not there i think they are there for the taking(throughout the season not just on sunday). eto'o played well last weekend that doesnt mean he is back to his best. he tore apart a very poor valencia side that we beat 5-1.
i dont think it will be 3-1 but we may come away with a 2-1 win or 2-2 draw. ramos and heinze(if called up) need to keep their cool and not get red carded against nippy wingers. pepe man mark eto'o and cannavaro mop up the rest. diarra shut down xavi and iniesta when they come forward then attack attack attack.
raul always plays well against barcelona i think robinho and raul will score maybe a ramos header from a sneijder set piece instead of a robinho goal.

Yeah that's why I started having a problem becaue I see a headline and following interview with Baptista saying we will win 2-0...that's just dumb, muy bocazas de el....fans; is ok that they predict, hell I predicted...btw, I am predicting a 2-2 draw, Raul scores one, I say....

anyway, we have a full squad guti in included so is robben. but i still think we should start with baptista and diarra in the middle, they will break evrything up and baptista has the quality to go forward. iam really looking forward to the battle between pepe and etoo should be fasinating. also baptista and diarra vs xavi and deco/guddi/eniesta who ever plays.
