Funny how Madrid paid the highest transfer fee for the 2nd best player in the world. I hope Ronaldo turns to rust in the Bernabeu. No offense to the Bernabeu in that statement, just the absolute douche it's happened to purchase.

I disagree, Raul is getting older and it will most likely be Higuain (unless we get Villa, which I hope we dont) and Ronaldo upfront for next season with Raul and Hunter on the bench. Ruud and Saviola will most likely be sold. Kaka will play behind them.

Now we need to shift our effors to get a RB and a LB as well as a CM.

I for one will be happy to see Raul on the bench for half the time, he's past his time and it's time for him to realize that. As for Ruud, Who know how he will be after being out for almost a whole year and having that operation, if anything, his time is coming to an end as well.

As for what is happening.... I will need to see results before I get excited about all these signing. Aslo, A defender wouldn't hurt as well.

We are still in June man, relax, I'm sure we will see more players come in and some are bound to be defenders. We have been linked with Maicon, Raul Albiol, Ivan Marcano, and some other as well so lets see what happens in the end.

wow I come home from work and find all this out....well CR is here, so two signing I predicted are happening, honestly I would have prefered Ribery, but now we know he's not coming, I would definetly keep Robben now and we also need a CB and a LB...The way Pellegrini plays Sergio Ramos should have a good year next year, being that he loves to use the wingers on attack....I would really like Albiol.


As far as Raul, well he's a loyal servant if he played another position like CM or something like that he could still be a starter, but being that he is a forward, and has been playing for soo long now, it might be time to become a bench hero, and make his damage from there

Ronaldo may have a strange personality, but he's a wonderfull player. Fast, strong, good header, good dribling, free-kicks... I'm hope to see Pellegrini make good use of him. He has his dream (and his mother) come true, so i think he will be really motivated. But one thing is sure, it was to expensive, and you guys dont need Villa. I dont want to see another "Galaticos Era". So please make good use of them (Kaka and Ronaldo).

why not? the first era was very successful (two Champions Leagues in three years) until Makélélé was sold off and Beckham brought in ...

this time Lassana Diarra is already there, and should be a firm fixture in the starting lineup ...

two of the biggest flair players have arrived, and they each carry a unique style ...

maybe a striker will arrive, maybe not ...

after that, it is a matter of getting the defensive line sorted, weeding out the redundancies, and getting some cover in the key areas that need it ...

yes it was a lot of money spent, but the world is now a place that constantly demands instant gratification ... big stars excite the fans and media alike, and the various revenues collected will therefore increase multifold ... talented players playing as a unit should yield recurring bouts of silverware, which would allow for all the money spent to be recovered ...

that's the principle and the theory ... the application should be interesting to watch, no matter what happens ... this is the entertainment business after all ...
