For a few minutes there though, we actually looked like we were going to lose it. But then again, that penalty shouldn't of been. Nice to see the team come back a score a few more. That finish by Guti at the end was a great goal, but the Higuian one is right up there as well.

I think it was poor goalkeeping on the Higuain and 2nd Ronaldo goal.

Speaking of keepers, Casillas did not touch the player when he went through. It wasn't even a penalty, yet a yellow card. Oh well, good to start with a win.

This year we can score almost at will too many options, even when we dont play well like in the second half...that's a great thing that will help when the tougher teams show up in the champions...Milan was crap yesterday btw, we should beat them

Well another win 5-0 vs Xerez and we are now on top of the table for now!! It took like 15 mins in the 2nd half to seal the deal. Two goal for CR9 and Ruud score in his return to the Bernabeu after his long injury.

It actually took Guti to come in and change the game. Gago starting was a mistake.. like always.. and its obvious that Xabi is already an important person. I would actually continue playing Guti that way, coming in late to change the game

Villareal and Atletico have had a surprisingly bad start. Valencia is good, but they don't seem to have the consistency which is needed to win this league. Can't say I'd be surprised if it was Real and Barca in the top 2, and the rest atleast 15 points behind.

Agree Jabo! i suppose that this will also be the final result....Barca or Real(not sure for the moment , i hope Barca but i think it will be Real this year who will won La Liga) and the rest of teams at 15-20 points behind!
