    Honestly, man I don't know. I mixed them up and I can;t seem to get the CPU doing the things you had them doing initially.

    i haven't really had the chance to work on it lately.

    how is ap21's file ?

    i ask because i am about to test it now since i am in the mood to play a few matches and want to use a finalized mod.

    I think it's very good. Good pressure by the cpu, good number of fouls, shooting is good too.
    For my tastes it is a little bit too fast and goalkeepers are way too good, but I adjusted the speed and acceleration sliders and I'm loving it.
    Sometimes there's still the "ball carrier" problem. So the cpu players keep the possession too much but I can deal with it. I'm not a maniac of the perfection.

    The main problem is the career mode: player growth, youth players attributes and players cost (it is better now but still have some issues on wages and players market price). Without fixing those things, I'm not excited about starting a new career. But I appreciated a lot Andrea's work.

    I used to play every year your mods that's why I asked !

    mine is at an alpha stage but still requires work.

    i just played a match with ap21's files, i am impressed, i will agree some players hold possession for too long and i had seen fouls but so far my file gets a few more.

    eventually mine will finish up and be out there for download.

    no problem bro, it is nice to have a file that i can use when i feel like playing without testing edits.

    to be honest my only major issues with your file (i was using my product file) is players holding possession for too long (ie. glenn johnson and stuart downing), lack of long shots (i know the fix for you), foul counts are good but could be higher (may have the fix for that for you also) and ratings for players at the defensive back position (a.cole - 54, j.alba - 55) should be higher.

    i understand the difference and why it is implemented but wish it would be a little more accurate based on real players overalls.

    if i could get these fixed i would have no need to continue making my file, hopefully you decide to do the same for the newest transfer database since i only play kick-off and tournament modes and accurate rosters is a must have for me.

    It's really just giving the players LONG_SHOT_TAKER trait in the DB, and raising SKILLS_LONG_SHOT_TAKER to a high value ie. 1000000000.

    Reg/Ap - do you know what the value for the CPU clearance is? I know I had mentioned it on AP's thread - the CPU clears the ball straight to their teammates so easily. Makes the game quite imbalanced due to CPU attack picking up loose balls at top of box - while my clearances go straight OB or into the distance (as it should).

    It could be a code in the exe... I had this down last year, but since the array of working strings has changed, it way be obsolete now.

    Yes, 174 has to be the sum for the two attributes shot power and long shots.

    Try using a db in conjunction with a product file - Fidel's etc.

    Reg, what changes did you make in your db? similar as ap and fidel (including lowered player values)? I really don't like those because carrier mode doesn't make fun with players like Messi worth as much as a Donut and Flair features nearly gone etc.
