Boobiemasta, do you know why they booed? cuz the Turkish anthem wasnt finished, it was stopped in the middle of it, fans booed because of this.

I didnt say all the Turkish fans, just its always happening, id say around 75% of them ,i said i am also very ashamed of the english fans, they have stopped a bit now though cus of the threat from uefa, turkey just spoil the games.:rolleyes:

No but seriously, if booing another nation's anthem in a FOOTBALL GAME (notice the word game) is the best way people have of expressing dissagrement then I feel sorry for them.....


And most people support Bush Inc. because so far nobody else has come out strong from the democratic party fact is 53% of Americans just want somebody who can get Bush out as opposed somebody who can resolve the issues

I dont agree with that 'Turkish Fans' are disgraceful thing, truth is there are good turkish fans, bad turkish fans and regular turkish fans...just like everything else....at the end we are all human or not?

Turkey's surprisingly getting better and better, but are not world class yet. You can't judge them just by the WC. From what I remember they played mediocre, still managed to get 3rd place though. Shows you how much crap this last WC was.

ok, not all of us in the US of A support bush..... so how can u "tar all USA fans (@ a mthrfking football game, rofl - sorry guys but bush doesn't even watch football) w/ the same brush" and boo our national anthem. it's the same **** as some ppl saying all turkish fans are a buncha hot heads.. but that's different because our anthem was booed during a sporting event, now that's ****ing sad imo. just because u disagree with our country's policies, it don't mean u gotta take it out on our football players.. when the turkish fans booed our anthem the US players' pride was being dealt with and that's not cool cuz i bet half the team don't even support bush. so i say some.. no wait, actually most turkish fans are a disgrace. the good turkish fans are the minority.....

Yep. Everyone dislikes a superpower! :mrpimp: But booing national anthems is out of order, and Turkish fans do it to EVERYONE now.

It's hard to believe it was England who were threatened with elimination from the European Championships and not Turkey.

But since then Turkey fans have treated Macedonia fans like crap, throwing knifes and bottles onto the pitch, etc - and now they've caused more crap at the Confederations Cup, in every game they have played i'm told?

UEFA need to concentrate on them more than England. England fans cleaned up their act instantly when threatened with elimination! Hope the Turks do the same for the sake of their talented team!
