Hi Scouser thanks for the latest version of RM13. For some reason I cant get the manager or subs to show in the game. I have selected Spurs and tried both in exhibition and career mode but it appears that the defaults are still appearing.
These are the assignments in the sle.lua file
assignManager(18,91)--Spurs Manager
assignSubstitute(18,88)--Spurs Subs

I have all the required texture files installed in screenassets/sle folder.

5 pairs of textures for subs consisting numbered 0 - 4 as per your manual
benchplayer_88_0_0_0_textures.rx3, benchplayer_88_0_0.rx3, benchplayer_88_0_0_1_textures.rx3, benchplayer_88_0_1.rx3, benchplayer_88_0_0_2_textures.rx3, benchplayer_88_0_2.rx3, benchplayer_88_0_0_3_textures.rx3, benchplayer_88_0_3.rx3, benchplayer_88_0_0_4_textures.rx3, benchplayer_88_0_4.rx3.

I have modified the texture files with photoshop and would expect to see Manager in tracksuit with spurs logo and kit manufacturer logo.

The subs are also in bibs with spurs logos and spurs on back.
Any ideas as to why not showing in game.

and for your future version you think is possible to make assignable scoreboards for leagues and tournaments? for example champions league, fa cup and others share the same scoreboard id, so if you wanna use a champions scoreboard, it will also appear in f.a. cup matches, what do you think?

The automatic specific face detection will load the hairs file for the custom players who don't have hair files in the sceneassets folder, there are tons of custom players who are bald. It is a bad idea to check with all the custom players in game whether bald or not, then find their code and assign again. Are there any solutions of this issue in the future? What is the most convenice way to solve it so far?:\

I have a problem whith the game crashing aswell:
I have a boots.lua with ~900 assignments, if I remove like 20, it works, if they're in, the game crashes.
And I have a faces.lua with 48 assingments, whit them the game crashes but witout any assingment the game works. The problem is that the automatic face detection doesn't work for me.
How can I resolve those problems?


Edit: Now I tried the assignments, how I had them before the problems and i get crashes aswell, wtf is wrong? -.-
Edit2: And if I remove all faces and face-files, the game hangs at the first screen.

with this combinations everything worked fine:
6 external files:
1. boots - 729 lines
2. faces - 247 lines
3. tatoos - 126 lines
4. players fit - 140 lines
5. goalkeepers - 22 lines
6. adboards - 96 lines

player - empty
crowd - empty
goalnet - empty
stadium - empty
wipe3d - empty
accessory - empty
rm_default - 564 lines

Total - 1924 lines

I've added some other boots assignments (more or less 25) and the game crashed (that's normal)...I deleted all the lines in rm_dafault file (more then 500) to keep the latest boots changes and the game still crashed...the same result occurs if I delete the adboards lines (96)...so, it seems that there's a partial limit for each lua file (external and not) apart from the global one. I resolved the problem with automatic face detection. I used a fresh FIFA 13-folder (only the old sceneassets-folder) and regenerated, then installed RM new, now the face detection works. I'm waiting for a new RM-Manager to create new XX.luas..

The reasons for some crashes is that the new code for the new functions has reduced the number of statements that can be added. Of course, you can remove most of your face assignments (backup first), and using external files will help. Only the statements which use randomization need to be kept in the original file (these will not cause a crash in an external file, just will not randomize).

This is something I would like to do, but this can not be done with lua editing.

This is expected. If you keep the face assignment statements for these players, they will display correctly.

Probably, I think that patch uses V1.1 of this mod. Backup the lua files from that patch before installing V1.2.

This is possibly because there is a limit to the size of the data structures I use to store boot assignments. If so I can fix it, I will do some tests when I have some time.

so ur basically saying that for the automatic face detection i have have a fresh fifa 13? you see thats the problm i have so many patches so many things to install again hopefully scouser will fix this, i also have another problem it says that you can add more lua here
C: \Program Files (x86)\EA Sports\FIFA 13\Game\data\fifarna\lua and that you have to write an statement addExternalFile(filename) in this address here FIFA 13\Game\data\fifarna\lua\ but every time i do that the game crashes and i follow the instructions in the manual.

Hi! Ariel, in his moodingway patch, is using your revolution mod, but he edited it a little bit. For example for assign bench players to team we don't need lines. He also added a new statement 'assignKitsFN' for fonts and in next update it will be possible to assign boots to player without adding lines to lua file:
For instance in shoe folder for messi
boot_158023.rx3
boot_158023_textures.rx3

158023 is the player id
Maybe more things, I don't know.

Hope you can combine your discoveries and make this great mod even better.

Sometimes I create external lua's and they are not recognized in the game although they are enabled in the assets.lua

For example:

facesPart1.lua
facesPart2.lua
facesPart3.lua
facesPart4.lua

All of them contain about 100 face-assignments, but I just see Faces for part 1,2 and 4 in the game. Players in Part 3 have still a generic face.

Same thing hapened to me with shoes and tatoos.

Anybody else with the same problems here?
