Albania travels to Bulgaria today but i don't excpect any points out of this honestly. Therefore them triping has to happen somwhere else.

Wow, haven't seen Romania play this well in a while, even though it's Luxembourg. I mean, all of our players played well, especially Mutu, Zicu, Cocis and Radoi. Our defenders were class aswell.

wooohooo 3-0 victory and Bulgaria draw Albania !!!!! I only watched the last 20 minutes of the game, we looked like Brazil out there against those Luxembourg fellas . We could of scored maybe 3 more just in that 20 minute timeframe. I'm gonna go back and watch the first 70 minutes right now. Oh btw it's a shame Marica tipped that ball in because Goian's bicycle was just !!!!!!

Bulgaria made 0-0 with Albania. We won 3-0 against Luxemburg.That means we are on the first place, just for now because Holland plays tonight with Slovenia. Let's hope for a draw

edit: HOLY CRAP! I reallly thought Slovenia was gonna pull out a draw , it would of been just a perfect day if Holland wouldn't have gotten the win in Slovenia but we still have a game in hand on them and a draw on their pitch so technically we are favorites to win the group we just have to continue taking care of business. Our next match is at Slovenia on June 2nd. We don't have very fond memories from Slovenia hopefully the boys will take care of business.

Yeah, and also Contra was class in both matches(NED and LUX). I think Ogararu can be selected in the NT, but cannot be in the First 11, because Contra proved he is a very good and experienced player.

And a tribute to Hristo Castraveciov or Mamalicki Stoichkov, how do you want to tell him, who said before the Romania - Bulgaria match that when he was driving Mercedes's and BMW's, the romanians were riding bikes.

Kimikal, don't feel offended by Stoichkov. He is just an uneducated fool, who happend to be great and marvellous player, but as a coach is a great rubbish and the only reason somebody keeps up with him, is that his "friends" are running the football union, and although 99% of the bulgarian population wants him to go, he still stays and behaves like nothing happend.
Your journalists and press offs shouldn't feel offended as well, cos he behaves 100 times worse with our journalists, he refuses to talk to them and behaves like "the big boss", sometimes even calls them bad names, and talks only to those media, who don't ask him uncomfortable questions, so that he wouldn't need to explain why he's not capable of doing what he claims he can do.

He might have achieved a lot as a player in the past, but he hasn't got the dignity to step down and let the team progress. He's ruining the squad upon his criteria of selecting players that have contracts with some of his fellow managers, so that the team turns in to an expo exhibition for certain players that need to be sold abroad.

Just feel happy, that there are people to keep him in charge, because with him as a coach you're not 100%, but 100000% sure to qualify, i'm telling you this with certainty. I'm sorry to say it, but in 2 months we will be totally out of the competition, because i doubt Stoichkov will totally change his ridiculous coaching once in a sudden.

2 days until the big tie against Slovenia, Cocis is out injured but Rosu will be fit.

yep ... the match finished 2-1 for Romania ...the first goal was scored by Tamas in 50th min, from a closed side, then the Banel Nicolita made 2-0 ... and in minute 93, Slovenia score a goal ... so ... Slovenia 1-2 Romania ...i wait for the match from Wednesday, from Timisoara, with Slovenia ... the 2nd leg :P

Pretty solid first half for us. We created 4-5 very good chances and we scored right before HT which is always good for putting a nail in the other teams morale. I hope we come out in the second half with the same poise and determination and score a quick second goal because I don't want to get the the 80th minute still up only 1-0. We all know how our NT handles those situations

What a great team we have! Almost all players proved that they really have talent and that they can do a good job at EURO 2008. I still think we can beat both Bulgaria and Holland, but it's still too early to say that we are already qualified. We must get at least 3 points from these major matches and also we must win the other matches(with Belarus, Albania and Luxembourg).

I try to give some marks to the players:

Lobont - 10 , he really has experience, I think Coman can't take his place; in this match he almost slept, except 1 or 2 times when the slovenians beated our offside trap
Contra - 9/10

we're playing Turkey on 22nd august (friendly) and Belarus on 8th september (qual). the game against the turks will do good, I'd rather have them than Cyprus, Moldova or some other football power. I really think we can get to the Euro.
