Just looking at the roster tells me we have a very small chance to do anything against France.

I don't understand the call-ups of Cocis and Ovidiu Petre. Never have, never will. It's like Piturca made some deal with the devil where he has to call those guys up no matter what.

I don't get why Marica gets called to be honest, joke of a player. he can't finish, can't dribble, isn't fast nor strong and also has a bad attitude. how the hell can you call yourself a striker when you've scored 30 goals in the last 7 years? and people see him as the new leader of the national team, sh1t times are to come. I'd rather have Rusescu, M. Niculae, Costea or even Pena called up instead of him. Marica and Daniel Niculae, both useless strikers without a single quality that I can think of, how did they get transfers abroad? it's not like either has ever scored more than 6 goals in a season. meh, at least we got rid of one...


oh and why wasn't Sanmartean called up? he's tearing it up so far this season. should have gotten him instead of Cocis. I can understand getting Ovidiu Petre as a sub for Bourceanu, there's no one else I can think of atm in that position. all midfielders want to be Hagi nowadays.

16 goals in 49 caps. That's why Marica gets called up. All our other strikers put together have 6 goals in 40 caps.

4ndr3i, this is Piturca we're talking about. Obviously our starting wingbacks should be Sapunaru and Stefan Radu but Piturca has this unconditional love for Nicolita so I'm sure we will see him in the starting line-up.

Torje as captain? no way. I don't want him or Marica anywhere near that. you should see how they both act when their team is behind, or when it's just not their day. I'm happy that Rat got it, he's the best choice. I can see Sapunaru or even Bourceanu getting it afterwards.

Yes, this is my opinion. Of course not now but in 2014 or 2016 why not? He is very very talented, has ambition and leadership potential. I said future captain.

WTF is Piturca thinking? He is calling up players who either are subs at their team or are at a crap team When you call up coccis and Ov. Petre (Modena? FFS!) you can't expect to beat France! I'm not happy with Stancu either. Zicu? Come on! I was most outraged with calling up Lazar but he really surprised me against Luxembourg. I would have called up Mihai Costea, Alexe (if he is in the first 11 of Dinamo; he really is talented, if he doesn't get carried away with bitches and nightclubs he could become a great player), and (I know you're gonna laugh) Oprita. Oprita is the man! He's got skills. And I'm sure you could find better midfielders in Liga I than coccis or Ov. Petre. Damn! Fingers crossed for tonight.
