the weather was awfull , they hit the ball and it stoped in air , u saw that holland played good first half with wind oposite and romania second half same wind .. the ref was awfull, he`s trying to play the ref , he red carded chivu in inter game.. and yellow carded lots of players in this game

calm down silencer, we lost the latest qualifiers to euro and world cup in same ****, unfair refs and fking bad luck when we controled all the game with denmark, slovenia etc.. like $teaua said ... learn to lose ... anyway i dont think holland will have any problems qualifing , best luck to them.

We were so robbed in the match with Denmark which we all remember, when Urs Meier ... goooooooaaaaal Laursen, 95th minute... so I don't really care if we scored from offside.

In the first half we didn't play very well, but we knew how to defend. The second half was better, Holland wanted to keep the result, but we scored so they got back in our half for the last 20 minutes, trying to equalise. That is what I can tell about the match, a really boring one.

BUT WE WON!!! AND WE'RE GOING TO EURO 2008!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!

Anyway, wednesday we have a very important match in Louxembourg, they won in Belarus so we mustn't go there as tourists...

About the offside talk, last time I checked if a player takes a shot and another player is in an offside position when the shot is taken he is not considered offside because it is not a pass that is intended for him to play, it is a shot that is intended to score. Now when the GK completely deflects it in a different direction even though it wasn't offside to begin with because it was shot not a pass the possibility of offside ends because the ball deflected off of a player from the opposing team. The end. Oh and we won so stop whining.

No Alex you are wrong. It does not matter what the player "intends" to do -- if the other forward is in an offside position as the play is made, he is in a position to gain an advantage and that is offside, as my previous post said. I'm not arguing about the result here, just clarifying the football rules because I'm a regional ref and I feel obliged to do so.

If you pay close attention next time you watch a game you will see what I mean. If someone shoots and it deflects off a defender to create a breakaway for another offside forward, it will be called. It was based on this principle that the Canada goal was disallowed in the Gold Cup against the USA, the ref thought that it was a deflection off the USA defender (Onyewu?) when it was actually a pass from possession by him and not a deflection, and Canada's goal was unfairly disallowed.

and yeah we have good chances to reach the final...Romania,Germany and Croatia are the only undefeated teams in group stage

We won against Slovenia today with 2-0 (Sneijder and Huntelaar) but we should've finished them off in the first half, Sneijder post and wide
We lost Robin van Persie, Rafael van der Vaart and Arjen Robben due to injuries during the game Van Persie seems to have a bad injury but we know more tomorrow.

Thanks to the Bulgarian draw against Albania (great performance btw) we only need 2 points to qualify and next game is against Luxembourg AND we have a homegame so this has to be a win for us and then we're through and our prediction becomes reality (Romania and Holland to the EC). Last game is against Belarus but we will qualify against Luxembourg I'm sure of that.

I totally agree with you mate, but come on! That goal's history! For now we'll see each other in Austria/Switzerland. Like many said, Romania has been robbed so many times in the past, they just got a break now...that's football...not always fair...

(Hopefully we'll see each other on the pitch in the final, hehe...)

lol I've been reading about the Albania - Bulgaria game..apparently our worst game of the qualifiers...now think about it...we played SO bad the 1st game against Romania, how bad were we here? I don't even wanna know. An own goal and an equalizer in the dying minutes...Thank God Petkov is a solid keeper. Anyway, we've shown again and again that we don't deserve to make it through..in fact I'm happy we haven't made it because if we did, someone would end up raping us pretty badly.

Anyway, congrats to Romania and I'll be cheering for you, Croatia and hopefully Russia at the finals!!

Well, how does it feel boys, to breathe in the clean air again ? I can't believe it has been 8 years, it feels like yesterday when Ganea put away that last minute penalty against England to put us through to the quarters. Amazing how time flies by.

I'm soooooo excited, I'm literally shaking, I can't believe we have finally made it again
