Legal offer doesn't require much. Honestly, a fax could be as simple as "55m for Alaba?" and that would constitute a legal offer. At least in common law jurisdiction. Obviously I don't know anything about what laws they use for this kind of thing and how it would apply in a civil law system, but that would be sufficient in England.

If accepted, I imagine they would refine the details, but I don't understand random offers like this either. A player who seems happy at his club needs to be spoken to first through an agent.

Hahaha, I've heard Bayern fans want him back too. The only reason he is valuable for Germany is because they have NO ONE. When you have guys like Suarez or Lewandowski there's no reason whatsoever to want a player like Mario Gomez.

As an alternative solution in case of injuries and form. Experienced at the highest level too. Bayern may not need him but someone of that(or RVP's higher previous calibre) could be beneficial for a season or two. Gomez doesn't have that edge of personality for Bayern or Barca bench in such a role, I doubt.

BvB want Gomez as well according to rumours. They could do with a no.9 option on the bench too.

Of course, secretly want RVP to win a CL.

Serge Gnabry will spend the year at Werder Bremen. Why isn't this a confirmed transfer? Because it's not sure if Bremen are buying him, or if Bayern ((H)) are buying him and loaning him out.

Would love to have Gnabry on the Bayern books, I'm a big fan of him.

Mangala -> Valencia seems almost confirmed, not sure of the price. Two years in a row Valencia lost their star CB so I guess it makes sense to buy one that nobody will want to poach....
