We did well considering all the players Quique has to make choices and experiences.

I liked the first half, Urreta looks very promising (he's only 18) and Katsouranis must play in the midfield, not as CB that'd be a waste. He's very underrated, he's best center midfielder we have. (considering Aimar is more of an AMF or SS)

I like Assis, but it was predictable that it would happen.

Sepsi was loaned to Racing Santander... Maybe because of Smolarek? Luis Garcia case is getting far, so our other option can be him..

The news say that Hull City wants Makukula for 5 Million €, for me is a really good business, and with that money we could give the 2 Million that is necessary for Luis Garcia.

The loan with Reyes is slowing down, i thought it was confirmed, but guess not, his not happy with the economic part of the loan and in a spanish journal says that he doesnt want to come.. If he comes with the thought that he can go to the night and drink some beers and in the next morning go training, i prefer that he stays there in Atletico, but if he comes and make up his mind to triumph with Benfica, is welcome.

Ricardo Oliveira is a good acquisition for us. We have great players, now it faults turning them into a team.

how can assis go and binya stay is beyond me....
anyway, regarding makukula, if the 5 million offer is real i'd accept it immediatly, benfica will never recover the investement in another way

I hope is true, but like i said before, he has to makeup his mind, and forget the money, he's destroying his football life and he has just 24 years, he needs support from Quique and his family and then try a new begin in Benfica. Please Reyes! Think at the things you were in the past! I count with Rui Costa to slap him if he's going to make mistakes in here.

Strange choice considering the position where he plays, I reckon he'd probably sell more shirts if he'd choose another one, like 19 or something.

José Antonio Reyes, novo reforço do Benfica, foi apresentado ao início da noite por Rui Costa, na sala de imprensa do Estádio da Luz. O extremo espanhol vai envergar a camisola n.º 6 (pertenceu a Petit) e mostra-se ambicioso: «Vou relançar aqui a minha carreira.»

«Trago muita ambição e podem esperar o melhor de mim. Acredito que o Benfica pode ser campeão», começou por afirmar Reyes, convicto de que as coisas vão sair-lhe bem, até porque conta no plantel encarnado com algumas caras (e um treinador) conhecidas do campeonato espanhol, o que facilita a sua adaptação. «Sinto-me um pouco mais em casa. Tenho sido bastante apoiado.»

Questionado sobre Quique Flores, Reyes respondeu assim: «Nunca fui treinado por ele, mas disseram-me que trabalha muito bem em todos os aspectos e isso tranquiliza-me.»

José Antonio Reyes coloca o Benfica ao mesmo nível do Real Madrid, onde já se sagrou campeão. E não considera que vir para a Luz seja um passo atrás na sua carreira desportiva: «Não creio que seja um passo atrás. O Benfica é um clube com a mesma grandeza do Real Madrid, o maior de Portugal. E tem o melhor centro de estágio que já conheci.»

Feita a apresentação, Reyes desceu ao relvado da Luz para uns toques na bola, perante o olhar atento dos adeptos encarnados.
