Congrats guys great match by Portugal. Figo was outstanding as so was Ronaldo, this kid's got the moves, but you know what when is Felipao going to figure out that Andrade is having a bad Eurocup? It's time Felipao sit the guy I mean one own goal and he basically gave that goal to Owen against England. One of the only flaws I see in this Portuguese squad is Andrade.

An Dutch fan said to the TV that he was nuts with the HUGE party that invaded the streets (the major street in Lisbon was cut by people lolol), that he had never seen anything close in Holand to what he was seing. lol Imagine if... no, WHEN we win final on sunday.
Also i would like to praise the great fairplay for the dutch, that are exchanging t-shirts and flags with portuguese fans. Great atmosfere

Ruud van Nistelrooy felt referee Anders Frisk contributed to Holland's Euro 2004 demise but conceded the Oranje were second best to Portugal in their semi-final.
The Dutch produced an abject display at the Jose Alvalade as they crashed out of the European Championship at the semi-final stage for the third time in four tournaments.
But, on this occasion, Holland could not curse a penalty shoot-out as they failed to pose a sustained threat to a well-drilled Portuguese side.
Holland's chief striker van Nistelrooy had few sights of goal but believes Swedish official Frisk did not help his team's cause in Lisbon.
"It's unbelievable how the referee ruled everything in favour of Portugal," bemoaned van Nistelrooy. "He was a real home whistler.
"Every 50-50 situation was for them but we cannot do anything about it."
Portugal were ahead at half time through Cristiano Ronaldo and forged further in front courtesy of a brilliant Maniche goal in the second period.
A Jorge Andrade own goal handed Holland a lifeline but van Nistelrooy accepts the Euro 2004 hosts were the deserved winners of the semi-final showdown.
He added: "The 1-0 was deserved because we hardly showed our strength in attack. It was hard to get chances. It was hard to get into the game, I'm shattered.
"We fought back to 2-1 but it didn't work out the way we wanted.
"They had the better chances, it's tough losing like this but we had problems playing our own game. In the second half we played for all or nothing.
"It's hard to say (if they outclassed us). We gave everything and our supporters here and at home were great. It's a bitter pill.
"I'm really down but maybe we have to say that Portugal just played better in this match. All of us gave everything for the fans over here and at home.
"The semi-final is a good achievement but we came to reach the final."

I am SO happy!!! Like Infesta said, only the Portuguese fully understand what this victory means! It's our greatest achievement ever in NT's football. Our team just made history!
Portugal was clearly the better team today. It was pretty even at the beggining, but then our players started to show their determination and dictate the pace of the game, creating several chances. Figo was FANTASTIC! He stepped up and he had his best peformance for years. He's a great player (everybody knows that) and a great leader, that will be remembered as our best talent ever, after Eusébio.
Holland didn't give up, they also have very good players and a style of play similar to ours, but things just didn't go their way. A special word to them, because they are a great team and have top class fans! You absolutely rule! You are friendly, with lots of fair-play and an incredible spirit!
Maniche goal was ! Brilliant! He's been our most consistent player in this tournament. My opinion on him was that he was a only slightly above-average player, that was very hard-working, but I now have to recognize, with much joy and pleasure, that he is a great footballer. Miguel also showed what he's worth, neutralizing Robben, and shut up his critics. Cristiano Ronaldo is not a hot prospect, he is already a world class player. What a future he can have! He plays left and right, he has great dribbling skills, good pace, determination, he passes well, he has good shot power and accuracy and he can also head superbly! He can become an amazingly complete forward! But all our players deserve congratulations! All of them, as well as Scolari, who once again proved it wasn't only luck he has won all the trophies in his career, like the Libertadores twice and the WC! He knows what he does, he's a very good coach and an even better man manager, that creates a strong team spirit and motivates his players to the maximum.
Now, let's celebrate!!! We're in the final, but we'll think about it from tomorrow on. It will be very hard, against Greece or the Czech Republic (even more against them, because they have clearly been the better team in this tournament, very very strong indeed). If we lose, of course we'll be sad, but we already achieved something great and will be proud of our NT! Anyway, we believe!!!
