I saw King Arthur today, I didnt particulary want to, I had gone to the cinema banking on The Village being out but it wasnt and King Arthur was the only thing on that was tolerable and I hadnt see already. Anyway, it wasnt much cop to be honest, Kiera was lovely of course but the story didnt have the proper Athurian feel and it was badly lacking big name actors. There were some good performaces, the Saxon chief and his son kicked ass, and the story line wasnt bad, but if that's the real King Arthur story, I think I'd rather stick with the legends. Just felt like an ordinary Roman story.

The legend of an ENGLISH king arthur isn't true, he was a celtic "warlord", as I believe he also is in the movie (which I haven't seen).?

In the film he's of mixed English and Roman parentage, but I am not sure of the films acuracy. I have heard some people describe it as the most archeologically proven version to date and some describe it as utter rubbish.

No I havent, but I will take a look. Talking of comedies, has anyone ever seen the Steve Coogan film 'The Parole Officer'? That was just so f*cking funny it was unbelievable, just like Alan Partridge but better.

Yeah lmao! I strongly recommend it to anyone. Yesterday my brother bought the three Mad Max films, they were going cheap, and I've now watched the first two. Number 1 was pretty good but nothing special, but number two was really good. They're only about a fiver each from HMV at the moment so it's a good time to get the series.

go watch Dungeons and Dragans, it will increase your sense as to what can be described as the worse movie ever. Think Matrix Revolutions is bad? Think again, watch D&D and you'll never be the same man again.

Most people have read that Lancelot and Arthur' s wife were supposed to be having an affair.....all they did in this most recent movie was look at eachother a few times like as if they were related like a long lost brother and sister or something...no chemistry....heck there was no chemistry between Arthur and his wife either....I initially said it was good but after reflection, it was in the same league as I, Robot...If you have no idea about history and do not want to, then you will like the movie.

Green Mile and Shawshenk Redemption are boring according to me !
