Yep i would like to understand why he is being like this, but we will have to deal with it at least this year.

Hard and important game today against Guimarães, just hope we get win.
So far 2-0 HT.
Three penaltys, the first two are correct. On the 2nd one the player should've been sent off as the ball is clearly going on goal and at that speed I don't think any keeper would've saved it.. The 3rd one I think the ball hits the player in the head, so it shouldn't be. Before those 3 plays however, there was a play where Emerson crosses the ball and Alex uses his hand to stop the pass, therefore penalty and not corner.
Guimarães with 0 attempts on goal.. This is even more defensive so far than with Manuel Machado.
And good option by JJ, saving Aimar for the Manchester match Wednesday.

Clearly we deserved to win but the fact is in recent matches we can't really keep control of the game in its dying moments, at home and against weaker opposition.. The players start to lose control emotionally.
This is something JJ has to work on, although I believe he isn't qualified to do so.. Not surprised either, as he doesn't want psychologists in the lockeroom talking to the players.. It looks like we're in the middle 80s or something..

It was hard at the end, if we didnt conceded that goal the story would be different and we would probably win the match easily.
Still Guimarães didnt did any good play before the goal, but we still have the same problems from last season.
Just hope he doesnt mess up against Man Utd because it will be a tough game for us.

Exactly! This is something that's been dragging since last season and even the season before when we won the league.. Can't believe nobody in the technical team notices it. We can't seem to stop attacking and manage the rest of the match with ease. I don't mean sit back and give the ball away, on the contrary control the ball and make it run..Don't get me wrong, I enjoy our attacking football but this will cost us if not corrected.
Concerning the match against United, well they are in such form that I believe no team would want to face them. I hope for the win, but won't be too disappointed if we don't win but yet give a good response.

Today match against Academica, looks like for what the media have been saying Capdevilla will play, lets see, actually i just want the 3 points nothing else.

Great game by Nolito, definitely MOtM. Bruno César did well too.
It's a good thing we have the same points now, it makes the Porto match less decisive and perhaps the players will approach that match more confidence.
For the record, and after looking at the replays it should have been a penalty for Académica, that Bruno César handball was in fact inside the area. Also, an Académica player deflected a Bruno César shot with his arm inside the area, therefore it should have been signaled penalty for Benfica. And there was an aggression on Saviola in the first half as well, elbowed in the face..
