Please watch the game before posting your comments. If you did you would have seen that Shevchenko headbutted Materazzi in front of the linesman and received no punishment, both Cambiasso & Adriano were fouled in the box with no call, finally when Inter score a flawless goal and the ref takes it away. I understand that throwing flares isnt the right move but I can def see why they did it...and do you actually think they were aiming for Dida? The amount accuracy needed to do that is uncanny. But it did hit him and I believe they were punished hard enough. Banning them for a season though, come on! It is so easy to say stuff when your team is not the one at fault.

It's not like Inter are the only team who experienced unfair decisions from the ref/linesman..
It happenned thousands of times where referee decisions didn't go in some club's way, but you don't see their fans throwing flares (or other objects) because of that..

By the way I find it funny how nearly everyone is against the idea of flares except for fans of Serie A teams..

If you're not a fan of Serie A, why the hell should you care that they use flares?

So to you, not winning your leagues title = you suck. Brilliant.
For all the money you spend on new players? Yes, absolutely.

So I should be a fan of the Italian league to actually "care" about whether the league's teams use flares or not? What if your team play the team I support and some player gets injured because some frustrated Inter fan threw a flare?
Flares are bad in general, its not an art, the smoke it makes is too much and I bet other fans in the stadium are annoyed by the way it distracts the match because they can't see whats going on properly.. Besides fans in the stadium should be concentrating on the match instead of lighting this crap like some sort of carnaval..
It affects the footballers on the pitch and the fans so you shouldn't really support the idea of having flares..

Sure they spend a lot, but they also sell a lot. Those numbers are base on Players Bought Minus Players Sold.

What does Inter's income on sold players have to do this? I'm talking about the amount of money that Inter spends on new players every season for the past few years.
