I tried to convert a Stadium of Fifa2002. When I go to Tools > Stadium Importer and load the txt and directory of the Bitmaps than comes this error: "this application was closed because of an invalid procedure" (I don't now how it is spellt exactly in English, I only translated it from german, but you all know this error)

I hope you can help me !

a guy (Dr.Wedersen) in a german forum posted this, i try to translate, maybe it can help...

you have to create textfiles with canrav and at filter options mark all fields. then the stadium builder can work with it. an another prob is, that stadium builder just reads up to 4.000 pages. and most of the 2002 stadiums have more.

maybe it helps someone, i hope that it's right what he has said and i've translated all correct... ;)

Great tool, although Im still trying to learn how to use it, but the one thing Im wondering is do we make the textures in the fifa 2001/2 way or the 2003 way?, thats the only thing.

Chris,

You just have to copy them into a folder.
When you import your model (from rhino or Rav), the program lets you easely map them in the 2003 way.

About that 4000 pages ?!? What the heck are you talking about guys ?
The Genk stadium used the most polygones in Fifa2002 (maximum amount). I converted it without a problem.
Please remember you only have to read the rav.txt with the builder. You can do them one by one : ravstadium, ravcrowds, ravpit.

Cant understand what you guys mean.
Its not correct anyway.

Did you recognise it from the pic? Well done. It is only rudimentary at the moment. I am hoping the file format remains the same for fifa 2004, so any stadiums built this way are transferable to the new game. Bolton released, White Hart Lane on the way, things are looking good for premiership fans.

Cool. Check the Fifa 2002 forum every couple of days for updates as I go. I am doing it there since I will also do a 2002 version. Don't get impatient though, as it takes some time to get it right. ;)

OK mate that's cool. Trust me I'd never get impatient; people are often impatient with wanting my work when i chat to them and its not nice, i respect you just for considering making WHL though man (H)

I just got a little prob with stadium builder now:(

Failed, Status log :
Loading O file...
Checking Data
ERROR: The O file you selected is not a supported model

You must open OIFTool and change the O type that you convert to "FIFA Stadiums" and convert one O to OIF using OIFTool first, otherwise OIFTool will think that you are trying to convert a NFS car.
