FC Steaua anunta oficial faptul ca l-a transferat pe atacantul grec Pantelis Kapetanos, care a evoluat pana sezonul trecut pentru gruparea AEK Atena. Varful elen, care a implinit varsta de 25 de ani pe 8 iunie, a semnat un contract valabil pe un an cu Steaua, cu optiune de prelungire a intelegerii pentru inca doua sezoane. Varful de 1,90 metri a debutat in fotbal la Kozani, in 2001, de unde a fost transferat de Iraklis, grupare la care a evoluat timp de patru sezoane. In ultimii doi ani si jumatate a facut parte din lotul lui AEK Atena.

Sunt foarte bucuros ca am venit aici, deoarece stiu ca Steaua este o echipa mare. Le multumesc oamenilor de aici, fiindca mi-au oferit sansa sa evoluez pentru un club de asemenea anvergura. Sper sa raman la nivelul mare la care am evoluat in Grecia si voi face tot posibilul pentru a ajuta echipa sa-si indeplineasca toate obiectivele propuse.
Consideri ca acest transfer reprezinta o relansare a carierei tale?
Cu siguranta. Este cel mai important moment din cariera mea.
Ai vreun mesaj pentru suporterii Stelei?
O sa muncesc foarte mult, voi da totul pentru echipa si ma voi stradui sa le produc bucurii suporterilor prin golurile pe care sper sa le marchez. Sunt constient ca exista o concurenta mare la Steaua, insa ma voi lupta sa arat ca am valoare pentru aceasta echipa. Tin sa le multumesc domnilor George Becali, Adrian Ilie, Valeriu Argaseala si Marius Lacatus, deoarece au crezut in mine. Voi face tot ce tine de mine sa nu-i dezamagesc.

edit: I agree with you over Nicolita, but he will never get back to that form, or not playing for Steaua at least. I really like Neaga as a player, and if it would be for me I'd like him to stay with us until he retires, but another season like the last one will only get him sold, and as you know, that's not even up to Lacatus (if you know what I mean).
and the new kits will be unveiled on the AS Roma match, hoping Nike comes with something new, especially for the away kit which feels like it's been like that for years.

What's up with that Abel Moreno (i'm getting tired of this name) that was going to Steaua for Rada+1.000.000 euros? It would be interesting, because he is nr. 10 at Murcia (seems that he is one of best players there) , and I don't like Rada very much (Baciu is better).

he thanked the fans and sait it was an honor to work at the club but didn't say any of the reasons that made him resign. some say he left because Becali signed Kapetanos over his head. f*ck this, the first move would be to bring MM back but knowing how (arrogant) he is he'll just refuse us and continue with Urziceni...

I hate that damn prick of an owner that we have. How many people will he drive away from the club before somebody finally puts a bullet in his head? Adi Ilie was nothing but class while he was with us and he tried his best to keep the image of the club clean despite the crap that Becali pulls all the f*cking time. Damn it, right when I think he's finally calmed down a little he does some bulls*it like this.

I understood from the news that he quit because Gigi Becali said that he is unhappy about Adrian Ilie not selling our players for more money. That's what I heared. I'm sad because he left... Anyway, if MM comes back, I am glad. Although he has his bad moments, he still is devoted to Steaua and loves the club. Since he is at Urziceni, he never said something bad about Steaua. If it's not MM, I would prefer that they stick to former Steaua players, or important persons for Steaua.

. The two goals that Swindon scored were probably the worst devesive mistakes I've ever seen the Steaua defense make in the last 3 or 4 seasons. Thank God for friendlys.

take it easy man, it was just a friendly and it's good to see that the guys who came on after halftime had the fighting spirit to tie it up. let's see how we compete against some real competition before we get to any conclusions. i believe laca will have them ready by the as roma game to put on a great show for the fans he just needs to figure out what his starting line-up will be.

I've said that we've got no chance cause Lacatus has no influence on the team at all. he doesn't have any word on the transfers. I mean look at our other coaches, do you think it's a surprise that most of our current players had their best form during Zenga's era? he knew how to talk to them... remember how Nicolita, Iacob, Oprita, Bostina, Neaga, Dica and the others played under him and Protasov and look where they are now. Olaroiu did a pretty good job too, but since then our coaches have been Gigi's puppets. Hagi was brought in just for his image, the same with Adi Ilie and with Lacatus. and Becali somehow got over them... the starting line-ups, his 'favorite' players (Romeo-f*cking-Surdu), his transfers, everything.. and it affected both the fans and the players. remember when asked if Steaua needed a psychiatrist, what answer did Gigi give? they would have just been another obstacle for him in totally controlling the team. and what he did on stadiums, getting bodyguards inside the Ultras groups and all that stuff... this is not a professional club and this won't be ending soon.

The was I see it is I see what Lacatus did with the team in the second half of last season when we were 11 points back or something and then we linked 8 or 9 wins in a row and barely missed the title. He can definitely mobilize the players and get them focused what he should do however is to ask them to completely ignore the press (don't read newspapers, don't watch the news etc...) because there is so much garbage that is written in the press that it has to affect them no matter how strong they are mentally and when you're owner is ridiculing you publicly and you read that what the hell are you supposed to think?

Lăcătuş şi Pedrazzini pun la punct în cantonamentul de la Flachau strategia noului sezon. Cei doi au în plan să schimbe sistemul de joc. În cele 15 etape din 2008 s-a folosit cu precădere modulului 4-2-3-1, însă "Fiara" va miza mai mult pe ofensivă şi a decis să meargă pe sistemul 4-1-4-1, cel folosit de mai toate echipele la CE din Elveţia şi Austria şi care va impune probabil tendinţa următorilor doi ani şi în rîndul echipelor de club.

Noua aşezare a fost folosită în amicalul cu Swindown Town, portughezul Tiago fiind singurul închizător din primul "11". În rest, ofensiva a fost formată din 4 mijlocaşi cu sarcini preponderent de atac, plus vîrful împins Neaga. O dovadă că Lăcătuş îşi doreşte neapărat să implementeze acest sistem a fost faptul că l-a păstrat în partea secundă, deşi echipa era condusă la pauză cu 2-0 şi o jumătate de formaţie a fost schimbată după primele 45 de minute.

Sigur e însă că Szekely şi Nicoliţă vor evolua pe benzi, ambii putînd juca şi pe stînga, şi pe dreapta.
Dayro şi Stancu în acelaşi timp?
Apoi, Dayro Moreno va fi unul dintre cei care vor evolua în zona centrală, fie alături de Bogdan Stancu, fie alături de Pleşan. Cu Swindown, Pleşan n-a putut juca, fiind accidentat, dar Stancu a făcut senzaţie. Şi-a jucat perfect rolul, cu plecări rapide în spatele fundaşilor, dar şi cu multe coborîri în defensivă.
