How many Porto players have actually been "good buys" for the clubs that bought them? Hulk, Ferreira, Bosingwa, Cissokho, Anderson, Queresma, Maniche all failed to be worth their transfer fees.

The only really good deal I can think of is Deco and I suppose Carvalho, Pepe and Falcao were expensive but did live up to their fees.

Hard to say because so few clubs export anything like the same number of players. But it seems to me that better signings come out of Spain than Portugal and much better value too.
