It's your cpu its a bottle-neck for your card although I agree with a earlier post that there are better cards than that for about the same money, everybody must realise that we8i and pes4 are very system hugging progams they take a lot of cpu power and a good grafik card to play it like its suposed to be, it looks great at the highest resolution you can see the logos on the players shirts when the camara angle is on wide (the furthest away from the players) and in my opinion it looks better than fifa, its worth spending the money for a high end pc for trouble free gaming.

yes i tried but it hurts my eyes and its the same slow speed:(
and mister "lan" said that it's worth spending my money buying a better videocard and maybe processor but for that money i can buy 2 modded ps2;)

its just ridicolous that we need a SUPER system for a soccer game!!!!!
Why can i other games play perfect with my system(example this **** Fifa game)

You don't need a SUPER system to play this game well. Your current specs are more than capable.

Firstly, do you mean SLOW or do you mean JERKY? Is the 'slowness' consistent or does it it vary?


Are you sure you haven't got "V-SYNC" switch on? this could cause major slow downs on higher graphics settings.

Do this:
Make sure V-Sync is OFF
Put PES on 800x600
Set it to MEDIUM graphics mode
Make sure your monitor is running at 60hz or 120hz

There is NO WAY your pc shouldn't play the above smoothly.
If is doesn't, then it is a driver issue, try newer/older drivers.

If the above does work then gradually increase the settings and find how far you can push it. If you are getting a "split" in the screen you will need to enable V-Sync. My brother has worse spec PC than you and he runs it PERFECTLY with these settings:

V-Sync ON
1024x768 resolution
Medium settings
120hz monitor settings.

However he did have to use an older driver to get it working right.

i tried 60 hz but it hurts my eyes very much!
And no difference.........
is use 75 hz
i also tried vsync before etc etc
nothing helps...i just wait for playstation 3:D
i am very curious about the soccer games on ps3... we will see:p

I like realism soccer!I wish they could make game like real soccer but my problem is really a slow game play..believe me..i had ps2 and played a lot of times pes3 and we7 and i really feel the difference when i play it on my pc!
I dont like Arcade soccer games like ISS3!Give me real soccer action!

And?..I am also certain the game doesnt encourage you to download patches, but I suppose 99% of the people do anyway?.

yeah mate, i noe it doesn't say that. im runnin' pes4, with a gforce4 mx440 (64mb), and the games run ok, but it runs much better (and faster) using 3d analyzer

mate you didn't answer my questions, is the game slow CONSTANTLY or does it get occasional "slow downs" and stutters??

have you trued older drivers? (newer doesn't always mean better)

One thing is certain - running at 75 htz wont be smooth. 60hz or 120hz -that is the only way to get it perfectly smooth. Get the game working right first then worry about your eyes :)

The more info you can give us the more chance somebody can help you.

Also, check out the technical forum,there are hundreds of other posts about slow downs graphics issues. Most people do eventually fix things, so don't give up.

Didn't read all the replies though it's either 2 problems.

Either u are a fifa fan and try to flame PES/WE
Or your pc is running a lot of proccesses (anti-virus,anti-spyware,firewall,skinning programs etc.)
Press ctrl+alt+Delete and tell me how many processes are running plz.

Thought i even tryed PES4 with 1.1 patch on a P3 800 overclocked to 1000 mhz with 512 ram i think 333 mhz and a 9500 pro overclocked though i didn't overclock it so i dunno what the owner of it did with the card. QDI mobo (dunno exact model now). XPSP1 system and all other applications closed it was running smoothly on 800x600 high detail (but on box when over 7 or 8 players i think it had slow downs). But it should be ok on medium details or low.

Is ur cpu of the 1st p4 line? Becasue they were preety dam slow. My father's school has a p4 1.4 and runs like dead.

One more thing if u have anti virus and anti spyware remove the ****s in ur pc. I removed 19 tracking cookies from my pc with spy sweeper and my pc is revived though still slow with all the modding on the windows look.

i know that the slowdown in the box is normal.But my slowdown is constantly.

I also tried 60 hz but no difference and i cant do 120 hz because maximum is 85 or 90 hz.

Yes i think my cpu is 1st p4 line but i am not sure.

Its also not the virus scanner or anyhting else.I also think that it would NOT be the problem!I run MOHAA Pacific Assual smooth with all programs running in background!

I even re-installed windows and installed the pes4/we8i without installing anything else! (except directx/chipset driver/videocarddriver) and also its not getting smoother!

I was thinking to remove my soundcard (creative soundblaster 5.1) from my computer....i heard from more people this soundcard is the problem.

I got that sound card also :confused:

I got a Ti 4600, 1.8+ghz and 1gb of RAM and it runs good on 60 hz with 1024 resolution and high quality..

Although I get the occasional stutter, but thats only on some stadiums, most of the time its perfect, if I put the quality to medium its flawless, but also ****.

Turn vsync off and it s also perfect, but you might get lines on your monitor.

I think you`d be better to stick to ur ps2 or xbox if it works for ya cos it seems u aint gonna be happy with the pc version whatever happens, lots of people have tried to help u and your still whining about it ur prob tryin to play it at too high resolution expecting too much from ur pc:rolleyes:

PS2 is smoother because the game was built for that, they did the worst conversion ever over to the PC so its crap.

But if you have a good PC then its better than the PS2.

I got no worries running it on 60 hz, have you tried low resolution or low quality?..
