Great, Another Soccer Game

I checked the Konami website and there is no mention that International Superstar Soccer 3 will be released for the PC in the U.S. I also checked Gamespot.com and they didn't have any record for the game on the PC.

By the way, what is the difference between ISS3 and Winning Eleven 6?

From what i've heard about this game EA better be worried. I will be ordering it and if FIFA 2004 aint spectacularly inventive and breaking one or two moulds then I may just have to break our relationship. Take notice EA because a lot is riding on your next effort IMO.

Is WE6the same as PES/2?
If so then ISS is more arcadey and plays at a slightly quicker pace.

yeah, Ea worked so hard that your defence and forwards finish the plays by themselves without having to do anything, even on world class mode, and you can not head when you want to

We're not saying we hate them, we're just annoyed that after 10 years they still havent released a football game that plays like football.

EA are too interested in money to bother releasing a patch to fix the many bugs found. Instead they'll bring out another version a year later with different bugs and slightly updated data/graphics, which contains lots of errors and costs £30-£35.

That's the difference!

You can see the difference between people who are die-hard FIFA lovers and peopel who just want to play a decent soccer game regardless of who makes it. The die-hard FIFA fans don't have any back-up to their arguments so they just tell you to f*** off and not to use the forum if you dare to criticize EA.

If EA make a better game with FIFA 2004 than Konami I'll buy it. As it is, every Konami game ever made, including ISS 64 on the N64, plays better gameplay than FIFA 2003. Whatever ISS3 is like it's going to have far superior gameplay to FIFA 2003. ISS2 was far better and I've never seen Konami take a step backwards yet.

The more we support the other options out there if they produce better products, the harder EA Sports are gonna have to work to make a better game.

For the guy whose post was full of profanities and exagerrations, EA didn't give people what they wanted. They took away what we wanted. If you can find anybody who specifically requested for EA to take heading out of the game, remove the in-game creation center, make the game more scripted with the CPU controlling your players more often and having a game incompatible with half the graphics cards on the market I'll concede the argument!

I have all the backup I want for my arguments, but it's senseless to bring it on, as you won't listen anyway....besides if what you ment with backup was why I didn't defend my point of view before now, it's simply because I didn't have the possibility to get connected to the internet.
I can assure evrybody that I don't work EA, but also, that I would love to! And I don't tell anybody to **** off if they dare to criticize Fifa, buit I've got enough of "teach EA a lesson"!!!!! That's really unfair. Now, I see your ponts, but do you see myne?
You say that the more critics they receive, the more they'll work! What if they give it up and surrender the market? If evrybody thinks Konami are so superior, then why is still the most beloved and sold footie game? I don't mean ever, but only this year, Fifa has outmatched ISS or PES or whatever you call it. I don't say that your Play station 2 games aren't better then Fifa, but that ****ting on EA Sports, when holding in mind that they actually made an efford, isn't the right way to persuade them! When you make (or made, don't know your age) your homework and get a low "point", do you face the next homework with enthusiasm? I ertainly don't. Now, I'm not saying you should say EA made a great job by inserting many bugs, (you'll have to eplain to me what gameplay bugs you've found) but not let it burden so much! If I get a low "point", but at the same time get some kind, comforting words from my teacher telling me to improve, I certainly try to do it, while if I get some words like: You really stepped on it this time, I didn't expect that of you, you made some really shgitty work, or even, look at Mark's job and try to learn something, just like your saying to EA, I guess I wouldn't face the next homework with a smile! I know you waited for years, we all did that. We also waited for a new Windows, and now we got XP, and is that one perfect? NO son! It's the best Windows ever, but incompatible with many programs and hardware, but surely the net version of Windows will be an improvement! After all, nobody got you to buy the damn game!

Calm down man, chill out, take a deep breath, praise God or whatever, but seriously the only reason EA outsold Konami because Konami has not yet to release their series in PC and in North America. Wait a bit and you`ll see how Konami kick EA`s ass up to the seventh heaven. And we don`t hate EA, we`re just some customers feels some ( or maybe a lot ) dissatisfaction with what EA has done to their FIFA series. And the way they ignore our complaints with their pathetic support centre, hell, even the FIFA support centre here is much more helpful. And your argument about how our critics will make EA give up on the market, well for me if they do that then it`s clear that EA were nothin` but a bunch of loosing quiters . . .

Here`s a comparison :
I rate EA graphics for 9 out of 10 and their gameplay 3 out of ten, the average score is 6.
And Konami, despite they don`t have all the accuracy up until individual wristban for everyplayer, their graphic deserve a rate of 7, their gameplay is about 9 out of ten, the average score is 8.
That`s my opinion.

Firstly, if you feel it's "it's senseless to bring it on, as you won't listen anyway" then why exactly are you provoking an argument?
Your excuse about problems getting on the net is a puzzler, how did you post the original message then? The sensible thing to do might have been to make your statement and back it up with reasons you feel this way in the previous post.

Anyway as for the rest of your rant...EA have had (at a guess) just under 10 years to get it right. They have held the monopoly on soccer games for most of that time and most of us put up with the bugs and lack of inventiveness because it's all we had.

Now that we are starting to have more of a choice I think we have a right to question the makers of the FIFA series and to ask them if they are going to challenge there competitors and make a better game than the nonsense they have been churning out for years.

Your comparison to the schoolchild is interesting. If EA were the same child it would have been kicked out of college years ago and would now be working in McDonalds! I think we have given this child plenty of opportunities for improvement...sadly they hung out with the NFL and NHL boys too much at the weekend and there homework suffered.

What I meant about difficoulties with getting connected to the net is simply because I don't have internet at home yet, and must use my schools computers to get connected! That's not so difficoult to understand...
I tried to bring the discussion up with my first message, but after looking at the feedback I got, I think it's senseless to discuss it, and as you can see for yourself, I'm right! You don't understand me...you don't even try to look at the problem from another point of view than your own! I think after all, that I backed my arguments up, and if you want me to cut it out for you, I'll be happy to do it...
About the 10 years fact...well, I kinda see your point, but still, I personally feel that this Fifa is a winner. By saying this, I don't state I'm a die hard Fifa fan, or that Konami is ****, or that Fifa is the best and evrything else is bad. I respect your opinion, but I still think this Fifa is way better than the others by ages, and I feel that EA sports tryed hard to live up with the expectations this time. It may not be perfect, or bug less, not at all, but I like the gameplay a lot, compared to the previous Fifas. That's my opinion, and I think you should respect it.
I think your right, now that EA have competitors, it's our right to ask them to compete with them and deliver something better (and they'd better do it, or they will seriously loose a big part of their costumes), but as I tryed to say before, it's a matter of how we do it. There are many ways, but I insist that the way we adopted in this case is the worst thinkable! I think I covered this field more than largely.
Your statement about the guy being kicked out of college really made me laugh. I think the problem is that EA's market has changed. Look at Fifa 2000. I think that inserting aliens that kidnap the players clearly pointed to a young market. The game was for children! With the 2002 and 2003 they have realized that the real market are the adults, and they have tryed to improve, though it's late. Thus I mean that EA only made a serious effort to improve gameplay the last two years. Konami got to the real market before EA, and didn't have a delivery date. They didn't promise any follow up, and had all the time to work on it. I'm sure that if you gave EA 2 years without having to deliver games, they'll pull out the greatest game ever. Remember that they had only 4 month to make the 2003. I think, and hope, that the nasty child, that finally woke up to make it's homeworks, wil stop hanging around with the fellas, and get better marks.
