Teams Created In CM For FIFA 15 Added To FIFA 16

If you have limited editing experience, you are asking someone to explain something that will take you hours to learn. You can't expect people to do that. Do a search and read how to add teams to the db, start there.

No problem. BTW, I'm building a new house this fall, where do I start? And what's a "2x4"?

I think you're supposed to start from the roof and work down to the
foundation.

The tables are different this year so you can't just use an old version. You might be able to make your team in CM15, open in DBM, export to csv, then modify the tables using excel, sheets or a database manager.

Haven't tried but it should work.

Yeah, I've done that way too. Worked like a charm.
Just make sure you have some trees nearby and that the ropes you use to secure the roof to the trees are thick enough.

It's a little early I guess.
Let bangus build the house first, then we'll help him choose the furniture (we'll make sure to ask you when it comes to tables).

It's probably best you wait for CM16 to come out but thats not going to be for a while and thats assuming Rinaldo makes it possible to import cmp's from 15 to 16.

Waiting for Rinaldo to speak :clapwap:

He already said he would possibly start working on the tools in October if
he had the time.

You guys have got to start reading more threads.

Guys, I'm having trouble with added teams. I can't make substitutions using the newly added teams, and players have green/blue faces. What am I doing wrong?

It's actually very straightforward to import teams from FIFA15 into 16 - I've managed it myself quite successfully. However it does require a familiarity with databases, spreadsheets and excel and can be a bit time consuming.

The good things is that it should be very easy to import a team from the team table as that is the same as last years, and the player table require minimal changes (you need to add in a column for 'emotion' and 'gender' if converting from 15 to 16), and the kit link and player link tables are very similar (if not the same).

Formation tables were totally different though, so I took to merely making one myself based on a pre-existing FIFA16 one and it's worked fine for me so far.

Also remember to add them to the correct league as well, and best to update the stadium IDs as they are different this year.

I know that this sort of thing has been written about before but I don't know if it has for FIFA 16 yet. Sadly the community isn't as helpful as it once was to folk who are starting out with editing (I've been on and off SG since I was about 13/14 - so over ten years ago now) and so the best advice I can give is have a play around with DB master - it's a simple case of re-ordering columns but unless you're as dull as dishwater and into that kind of thing then you probably will find it incredibly tedious.

Hope that helps - I can do my best with any more specific questions.

Of course it's easy to import teams WHEN YOU KNOW HOW, that isn't the issue. The issue is that the OP has zero editing experience, and wants someone to explain how to do something that takes weeks and months to learn properly. Are you going to sacrifice 10-20 hours of your time to explain it all to him, and help him every time he's stuck?

Download rinaldo's tools and start practicing, that's how everyone learns. Then ask SPECIFIC QUESTIONS if you're stuck. It's these "How do I edit the game?" threads that people don't respond to.

And there are plenty of people around here who help others. In the olden days I used to buy a draft in the pub for 50 cents. We all think life was so much better way back whenever.

Ha well maybe it's because I'm a teacher, but it shouldn't take 10-20 hours to explain something that simple. That said I do get your point - it's not feasible to provide that kind of detailed information every time someone asks for it.

Perhaps this is better suited to the feedback section, but it's kind of relevant to what we're talking about, but it'd be great if people could go back to the days of general tutorials. I was very lucky when I first got into modding that there were a lot of people around who I could ask when I got stuck. Though I do agree, make a back-up and have a play around and you can learn that way too.

50 cents? What's that in real money then :p?
